but to SS none of us may be in the 8 courtesy of richmond
It's superstitionI hadn't found this before. Great work. But it's bizarre that not only do most Big Footy fans underestimate the Swans every year - but most Swans supporters agree with them!

Will be interesting at end of year to see who were the most delusional supporters.
Have a sneaky suspicion it may be the least delusional from original ladder.
Too early for that call, still possible that we'll finish 5th which is where we rated ourselves on average.
Not really; they thought they'd finish Top 4 for sure (100% of ladders by Carlton supporters), but probably not make the Grand Final (only 36% of ladders) or win the flag (11%).Or did Carlton think they were going to rise above the pack?
I just had a sneak peek at who's tracking to be the best tipster out of those 357 ladders, and as the ladder stands today, it's a tie between:
On a team basis, from best tipsters to worst:
This is using a simple measure of distance whereby you're penalized 1 pt for every ladder rung each team is away from what you predicted. The average is 55.4. Daz and Pegasaur are both on 36.
- Sydney
- West Coast
- Adelaide
- Fremantle
- Brisbane
- North Melbourne
- Hawthorn
- Port Adelaide
- Western Bulldogs
- Essendon
- Geelong
- Collingwood
- St Kilda
- Carlton
- Richmond
- Melbourne
- Gold Coast
- Greater Western Sydney
Linked from Post #1.Out of interest, what threads are you using to make these predictions, and if so could you track down my prediction?

Nope. That thread started quite late, just before the pre-season. Quite a few people copied their ladders from the original Prediction thread(s) to that one, so there's some overlap, but I didn't use it.Did you use any of these ladders?

Weekend's results were bad for Pegasaur, leaving Daz as our frontrunner.I just had a sneak peek at who's tracking to be the best tipster out of those 357 ladders, and as the ladder stands today, it's a tie between:
