Don't think there are any clubs truly dominant except for Melbourne but there were some good periods despite how bad it looked.

Like still Sack Hinkley and Basset but we absolutely can still turn this season around especially if we get players back.

If your definition of 'turn this season around' is to sneak into 8th, I wouldn't rule it out, provided Hinkley is sacked in the very near future. But even if we installed Clarkson as coach tomorrow, we're not getting near a flag this year. That ship has sailed.

2013 Melb - finished 17th..... Melb Rds 1 to 3 GWS Rds 4 to 23 = 19
2014 Melb - finished 17th..... StK Rds 13 to 23 = 11
2015 Gee - finished 10th..... Brisbane 12 but last round swapped place with Carlton to finish 17th
2016 StK - finished 9th....... Essendon Rds 11 to 23 = 13 CAS ruling in Jan 2016
2017 Freo - finished 14th..... Brisbane Rds 7 to 23 = 17
2018 WBs - finished 13th..... Carlton 20 Rds only ones not Rds 1, 2, and 8
2019 Melb - finished 17th..... GC Rds 15 to 23 = 9
2020 WB - finished 7th..... Adelaide Rds 2 to 18 = 17. Covid - play Rd 1 then approx 13 week break

In 1997 it was a semi pro era, they had won one game and nobody was undefeated after rd 4, and it was the only time in a 22 game season since expansion, that the minor premiers has won only 15 games.

spent a bloody lot of weeks at 17th when there were only 17 sides in the comp in 2011, but yeah we were better in 2012 when GWS joined and we struggled all year with more injuries and less talent than this year.
