Wow, perhaps the shortest team ever put on the field. Can’t they even recruit tall players in the VFL. What don’t our recruiting team like about tall players, honestly it’s embarrassing.

Dean, Begg and Johnson injured, played cox and Cameron in seniors as checkers out. I mean, can’t do much about all that. We also lost Keane and tohill.

Must be injured. They would have found a spot for him. He was BOG last game. He's well above most of that team.

He’s not listed as an emergency so maybe it’s covid or an injury. AFL players are a priority but he should still be picked over other BFL players like Wellings.

Yes, he must be unavailable for some reason. There will be 10-11 VFL list players in the side, and there shouldn't be any other reason he'd be left out, given they have obviously recruited the likes of Hartley, Jetta and him to give the team a bit of experience/maturity.

The season opener at vic park was a ripper. We vowed to go regularly, looked at the fixture and found it was just a one off token game. AIA has no soul.

Absolutely. I used to go to every game at Vic Park, have zero interestis going to Eddie McGuire stadium or whatever the hell it's called

Needs to get miles into his legs, stamina and build more strength
Flow on effect will be;
The coaches will have more confidence in him and he’ll play a lot more near the midfield which is where I think he’ll demonstrate his best footy

It's the gentrification of the inner suburbs - Collingwood included - which has led to councils utterly dominated by the desperately seeking to be relevant, wanna be gentry types who made it impossible for the club to continue to lease the stadium. You see the old memories of Collingwood as it used to be back when the club dominated the area are so offensive to the desperately seeking gentrificationists that they will do anything to discommode said club.

In other words a gang of would be social climbers hijacked the Collingwood city council and our club was in the way of their social ambitions.

Be careful they get very upset when you criticise them. Had a few run ins with them lately and they don’t like anything negative said.

I’m actually curious what we are going to do about the Ruck in the VFL. Begg out with concussion and the others played last night. Hopefully we have a top up ruckman listed.
