McAdam:
His mark and quick get-up to hit Tex on the lead at the end of Q1 was elite. Beautiful, team footy.
Really good lead, mark and goal in Q2.

However, his multiple Betts-like leaps for MOTY are disconcerting. I'd like to see him take a hanger in a one-on-one situation as in the SANFL last week, but at AFL level it's muchmuch harder in a pack.

Tigers get on top in the third quarter … umpires say ‘Hold my beer’. Full strength Adel except for Seedsman. 32-13 in free kicks and you kicked 12-1 from set shots. It’s nice to win but I’d probably cool the celebrations - wouldn’t want to celebrate too early like in GF week of 2017 when Tex saved a seat on the plane for the cup

And I haven't rubbished Frampton's game completely, but just from a quick 5 minute scan you've got these all leading to Richmond goals

Unfortunately there is more too. So many fumbles, turnovers & allowing his opponent to mark the ball easily.

He was absolutely terrible & now clear who doesn't actually watch the game closely & rely on stats alone.

After he cost us 2 of the 1st 3 goals, I did watch him carefully & I have a great view from the stands on centre wing.

Hard marker, sure he had a couple of fumbles but his good far far outweighed his bad.

22 Disposals, 18 kicks, 4 handballs, 9 Marks, 535m gained, 6 intercepts, 2 score involvements, 76.9% Disposal efficiency, 100% time on ground.
You missed one of the score involvements. There were at least 3x Richmond goals which were directly due to his incompetence, including 2 of the first 3 goals they kicked in the 1st quarter.

Yea people need to cool the jets with himmelberg. Remember 2020 was supposed to have been his break out year also
yeah and then we played Frampton over him starting 2021. Then he as given 3 games and dropped until the last 5 games. He's never had a good run at it aside from 2020 and then he started to show something. Not saying he'll turn out amazing, but he's always had something about him. Most talls at least need a consistent run at it. He's still only played 32 games.

FWIW I still prefer TT. But an idea might be for Himmelberg to have a good year and maybe generate some trade currency
