Hopefully Reef gets some midfield minutes too. No good just playing him as a forward

Hoping Ruscoe has a good game. Need more 193cm, 92kg options for the seniors

And the Egg is back playing… which probably puts to bed my long shot theory that he was being hidden til the MSD
And he's now only prob playing because Draper is not.

Also no Harrison.

No Draper No Harrison seriously...

And if Reef isn't played as a mid then we have serious questions over the development and identification of Fly, Bolton and Scott Selwood.

Hell, I hope he has scope to develop here.
We desperately need him amongst others to improve big time
We need mids, but at least McInnes looks like he'll be able to play other roles if he isn't good enough for mid. A couple of others look in trouble to me.

Don't think Macrae did either.
He was very quiet, not ideal being the sub. Almost had as many touches as cal. I hate playing kids as subs. Macrae should have played ahead of cal. Or not at all and full game vfl. Considering our seasoned mids got their asses handed it them, not ideal game to bring macrae in at half time

Macrae only had 27% time on ground.

Considering that his 4 touches isn’t as bad as C Brown getting 5 disposals in 65% game time

Totally agree though that Macrae should’ve played ahead of C Brown

Our recruiting and list management has been Meh to say the least. It's annoying to see the likes of Aish, Treloar, Lynch, Witts etc playing well at other clubs.
When we lose a number of quality seniors over the next 18 months our list will be average at best.
Years of pain to come after years of late picks and getting early picks wrong
