The first thing I noticed was Dusty's lack of interest. Even singing the song next to Cotch as usual, then he walked off straight after even though Cotch started talking to him, gave Carr a fist bump and kept on walking out of the room. Maybe just has had enough of the media and wanted to get away from the camera's? Worst part is, the more the media speculate, the more p15sed off he will become and the more likely he wants to get out of town. Hate the scum.

Because he is not meant to be playing in the twos, so he doesn't lift like other players do. fitness should not be an issue now. its all mental IMO.

Surely if he wants to play seniors he “lifts” in the seconds.

Been watching footy for a bloody long time and gotta say that was close to the worst officiated game of all time.
More than half the decisions had NO explanation.

This is part of a long term strategy years ago when AFL HQ stated that he wants Mothers not to fear their boys getting hurt.( words to that effect).
Fast fwd to the present we're seeing that plan unfold.

I listen to the comments and watch, but I nearly turned off the telly.
If they don’t realise the crowd numbers are down because footy lovers don’t enjoy the game the same anymore.

Tarrrant was good. We look much better with Gibcus in the side. How good is it to have a first year player come in and impact the dynamic down back in such a positive way.

Rioli, Baker and Short are guns.

Prestia was mint. Hope he's good for the swans.

Love Cotch but he keeps handballing to blokes under pressure lately.

With Lynchs radar off and now hammy, curious to see how we rejig the forward line for next week.

I'm learning to ignore terrible decisions by the umpires and I enjoy watching the game so much more now.

Horrible game to watch. Struggled to put them away combining with the atrocity which was the umpiring.
Didn’t enjoy it at all.
Baker supreme. Prestia & Short great on ball. Nank inspirational, just puts in 100%.
Special mention Ross and George, how thought they were both good contributors.

Trigger happy 50s - the one against Dusty insane. A chop at one end followed by Tarrant getting his arms hacked at the other with no consequence. And play on after the whistle to kick a goal is 50 when other teams just have it brought back to the free?

I’m measured usually - but it’s becoming unwatchable and corrupt.

TBH I think the SCG is not a bad ground in the circumstances to be without Lynch given its smaller size. Once the ball hits the deck it can be transitioned from one end to the other very quickly.

A smaller forward line in my opinion helps us to lock it in there more efficiently. It might also have the effect of making our mids lower their eyes a little instead of just bombing it inside 50.
