It’s pretty clear that the club is locked in to running down Ken’s contract.
I’m becoming more comfortable with that as each week passes. More for my own sanity than anything else.

Regarding the sign image posted on Twitter… how did SEN SA get a hold of it so quickly?
Agree. The current Board, lead by the wokest of woke wokesters, haven't got the stones to move the guy on.

As others have mentioned I cannot see Ken not coaching us next year. The only caveat I will put on that is the fact he apparently doesn't like the pressure of a final year and wants some certainty going forward. . So it may come from Ken himself, in that he will pull the pin without that guarantee.

I think their hand will be forced financially, but it really is up to us as supporters to keep mounting the pressure.

Sack Hinkley banners at games, sack Hinkley banners on the Port Rd sign again and again and again. Calling in to ask about cancelling memberships or even just auto-renewals. Going hard on social media, and then ramping it up significant post season with actual organised protests.

Koch on 5AA in short:

  • still confident in the list, we have depth and it keeps evolving;
  • the footy programme will be assessed at year end, just like every year;
  • still need to improve although we've had a lot of injuries;
  • frustrated at the Saturday game and "a lot of decisions didn't go our way";
  • we have a talented list, a strong program, and the list and footy dept are sticking together. You would worry if you had a team that didn't play for each other, that fell apart, that had no confidence in their coaches, and if there is disconnect in aforementioned. Saturday's game showed no disconnect, the players played for each other and the coach(es);
  • asked whether where we are at is a due to bad luck or bad management, he replied "a little bit of both";
  • we haven't taken our chances and have showed no consistency. We've gone from best intercept side last year to one of the worst this year.
  • we've missed Lycett, but Finlayson has surprised with his development. Charlie Dixon's passion had been missed in the early part of the season and has shown to be the key to the side.
  • ultimately, we are good football side who must play more consistently for longer at our best.

Might have missed something but that's the gist of it. No question on the future of the coach and more tellingly there was no mention of "Kenny" but the more neutral coach or coaches.

I still think the scenario will be he won't wanna coach into the last year of his contract without a guarantee beyond 2023, now that's when an Administration as lily livered as ours might finally get twitchy & decide to part ways.

He's never coached into the last year of a contract with no promises, hopefully another club comes knocking to his management however laughable that seems to us because it would add to the twitchyness on Brougham 'n Queen.

Only depends if he's happy to quit coaching after next year at Port. If he's happy to bow out then he'll stick around and take the cash.

There still could be the opportunity for Ken's manager to snag him a job elsewhere, then we may part ways, but I doub't another club wants a ten year coach who has never made it to a GF.

Imagine hanging around next year and we still fail to do it.

Kornes couldn't help himself and took a swipe at Primus at the end of his show this morning.

Said something along the lines of 'I hope Port Adelaide fans respect Ken Hinkley whatever happens at the end of the year. 2011 3 wins and 2012 5 wins, he's been a fair upgrade on Primus.'

Imagine if old mate Hinks was forced to coach under the same conditions as Primus was?

Honestly f*** off Kane you sad sour little bitch.

Wouldn't have been drafted if not for his surname and wouldn't have got a gig in the media if not for his surname.

Unlike Matthew Primus, Kane Cornes and Ken Hinkley are not Port Adelaide people. They're self centred, greedy tossers always looking out for themselves rather than the club. They are the exact opposite of what Port Adelaide stands for.

He doesn't like pressure which is what it will bring, this can come to a boiling point.

Kochie is a complete idiot something has to be done. Can someone tell me what the he'll is the board doing?

He really is still offended over his brother being moved on at the end of 2011 and Matty coming for him too.

christ it was 10 years ago, and he did sweet **** all in the 2 1/3 seasons kenny gave him.

Maybe kockhead means "we can be devastating to our supporters". I agree, kockface.
