I really hope the club have arranged a send off for Ratts this arvo with all the players coming to the Danny Frawley Centre for a BBQ and a full on piss up.
Everyone should be encouraged to get pissed as a maggot and duke out anything that comes as a result. A cleansing, if you like.
Make Cordy feel welcome?

Youd argue his ceiling isn’t a premiership if you really want to argue we know what we’re getting.

Again, I’m not against Ross coming back but I’d want him to show us that he wants it and what his plan is otherwise this whole “process” is a bit of a farce.
I’m not even thinking premierships.

When he is done. We will be going in the right direction.

In the 11 years since he left. We went the right way only once and that was the year the world was ending.

Bullshit. It's already after the end of the world.

What a basket case of a club we barrack for. A fellow Sainter friend of mine, even went as far, to say, that we have been run by imbeciles from our beginning.:p:p:p:p

We’ve had more than our fair share over years.

This isn’t one of those occasions though.

One thing that really stands out to me compared to all other sacked coaches is that we haven't done it as a knee jerk to media hysteria and/or a dire win loss ratio.

We have done it because we truly didn't think we had the right person in charge.

To me that shows that we are operating or trying to operate at a high level from a management perspective.

Don't think many clubs could say the same thing about their recent sackings (noble, rutten, teague, etc)

I suspect it confirms exactly what I said - he is not a messiah.

You're forgetting that he couldn't win a flag with this list.

I’m not arguing he is the messiah.

I’m arguing he will sort the football side of things out.

I’m not even thinking flags. I’m currently wondering if the list is good enough or is a rebuild coming.

And ultimately. A 57.21% winning record in all games (305) is a stat that is more telling - as opposed to your “look at his record” during rebuild years

BUllshit! Your often full of bullshit! If you really love the club you love the club......The oft quoted Kahlil GIBRAN .."Love is not love which alters when it alteration finds" or words to that effect...Corny but still true especially when it comes to the love of our club....we don't necessarily have to love one another lol! etc but the love for the club...well that's a non negotiable...imo!
exactly

We are going to make mistakes everyone does. But when we do we have to rectify straight away.
Great to see us being ruthless

I agree with Bassat on that, nothing wrong with mistakes as long as you learn from them.
