Kelly was an absolute superstar. If he ends up anywhere near him then wow.
He's one of my all time favorite players, one of the few oppo players I like. He'd just run flat out into a pack full of bigger blokes and somehow come out the other side holdoing the ball, not having lost stride and there's always one or two blokes from the pack lying on the ground.

In the 1996 GF both team captains were from where they call Wagga Wagga Wagga.

I wonder if that's ever happened before?

(Marstermind any idea?)

yep, mate of mine knows the family well, went to St Kevs with his old man, reckons clear #1 in this draft if not for his hammies which he assures me are 100pct fine.
I really hope so because that is my main concern about George. When you have three hamstring injuries back to back to back when you are only 17/18 there is always the risk of a chronic problem. I had massive hamstring problems myself and after tearing or badly straining them in both of my legs about 10 times each I was eventually reduced to running at three quarter pace to avoid doing them again. I was told that the hamstring tear never heals properly and you have to build up the strength of the muscle around the tear to protect the damaged parts. I think mine must look like Swiss cheese. George obviously has access to the best medical advice and care, so hopefully he won't have longer term issues.

Sure, he'll probably have a bright future as a footballer, but every time I see this geezer he seems like he should be in some big denim jeans and a bucket hat, hunched over a low-hanging bass for some indie '80s outfit from Manchester.
Yep. Spot on.

Gonna a couple of years to build some bulk. Maybe small forward till then?

I was hoping that you'd see it too.

Now, we must get a stadium full of North fans chanting, in their best Ian Brown impersonation, "I wanna be Warloooord".
Have you seen or have you heard.
The way he plays?
There are no words
To describe Harry Sheezel.

Then breaking into this against Poort:

Cut loose 'cause you're no use
We couldn't stand another
Second in your company

Don't waste your words
We don't need anything from you
We don't care where you've been
Or what you plan to do

So did garner...... just saying.

Force = Mass x Acceleration.

George doesn’t need the mass yet to hit hard, because he’s got the other bit covered.

He will play plenty in the AFL. He’s arguably the best credentialed junior on our list of all our top picks.

LDU and Simpkin are just about the least defensively minded mids in the entire league.

You need defensive balance and George will provide that in bursts imo in his initial role.

I think Clarko had a conversation with JHF, before he did a runner, about playing him across half back and easing him into the midfield, I wonder if he will try that with Warlord.
