I've said it all along, Ken and Koch are in it together regarding this year.

Ken didn't want to look at an Essendon job because he probably wants to retire so he's having one last roll of the dice. It smells of that, and Koch has gauranteed it.

This level of prolonged unpopularity is unprecedented in professional sport. There's been plenty of situations where an entire fanbase has united in wanting a coach sacked before, but not for years on end. It's absolutely bizarre.

Rip the bandaid off ffs.
It tells us a lot about this bast$rd koch for him to contrive such an untennable debacle and not bat an eye lid shows us the total arrogance of this pile of crap.
He has c to go

Actually - who is keen to organise a sack hinkley get together at the club when it happens? We should all ****ing go down to the club for a pint and shake hands and rejoice.

On the back of two devastating losses early in the AFL season, Port Adelaide legend Warren Tredrea believes the relationship between the Power and its coach, Ken Hinkley, is 'untenable'.
The Big Deal’s podcast episode comes early this week, as Tredders unpacks serious concerns for his beloved club.

Even though we're only three rounds in to the season, Tredders says tough calls need to be made at Alberton.
He doesn't expect Hinkley to earn a contract extension after this season, so why continue?
The problem, though, is bigger than the coach.
Tredders believes there's an enormous disconnect between Port fans and its administration. Personally, he's never felt more disconnected from his club. And he says any concerns raised are falling on deaf ears.

Rowe said u can't sack a coach after 3 rounds...Tredrea disagreed, then Timmy reads a list of the legendary coaches that have been sacked by previous Port boards..

Bob Quinn
Fos Williams
Russell Ebert
John Cahill
Mark Williams

This is making me horny...

Not 3 rounds though is it? It's 10 full seasons + 3 rounds.

Anyway, if Rowe is against it then that's better reason than any to get rid of him.

There were two moves he made last night that any decent footy analyst would be all over.

Starting Jonas on Rankine, one a elite small forward and the other a 30 plus year old defender who can't play a role on a tall or a small. Rankine had him covered from the start, the early goal for Rankine gets his confidence up and he's off for the game. Move one right there by a idiot coach.

The second one was starting JHF on the bench, and starting a midfield of Rozee, Wines & Drew with Drew not lining up on Laird. The Crows most damaging midfield weapon, especially in clearance. Then when he brings JHF on and lines him up on Laird for the game, and not have JHF play his natural game. Instead of starting Rozee, JHF and Wines to set the tone, Hinkley goes defensive in the midfield and the tone is set. He's got form doing that in big games and he did it again last night.

Hinkley's time is up, it's obvious to anyone and it was after the 2021 Preliminary Final loss, same with players like Boak, Jonas, DBJ, Lycett and co.

Time for them and more to be moved on, make the trades needed in the off season to get back into the draft, take the short term pain for long term gain to rebuild the list properly, under a new senior coach. The list is a disaster, one look at the Magpies currently tells us that. Moves need to be made to set up the next Premiership tilt, not the next contract extension for a coach who's time has long gone.
Precisely my take on the midfield organisation. Set up to defend, not attack. Butters behind his man, same with JHF.

The Brisbane game was characterised by attacking, moving the ball around fast, playing on without going back, making it happen.

But I knew it wouldn't last.

Back to gutless Ken, trying not to lose rather than trying to win.

Ken doesn't have the stomach to see out the year like this.

I so very much want his last win to be the brisbane one he walked down with that feminine swagger and did that weird cult handshake with a port staffer

Yep. Sack him now, my membership gets reinstated immediately.

I start going to games again. I will be re invested. Even if we play like s**t, just the fact that the Loser is gone will get me back. It is some light where all there has been is darkness.
If we install Josh Carr as coach tomorrow and go 0-20 for the rest of the season, I'll still enjoy my football experience more than if we keep Hinkley. At least I'd actually ****ing want to see us win. I haven't truly cared whether we win a game or not since about half time of the Ebert tribute disaster. Going to the football now is just larrydavidshrug.gif after a goal by either team.

Good work Tredders. The club is happy to ignore supporters, and Kane uses his platforms to try and talk us down and protect Ken, but you can't ignore such scathing comments from your last premiership captain.

And the mainstream media hasn't. Those comments being picked up now, before an inevitable belting this weekend, will massively increase the heat. If Ken had his feelings hurt, he hasn't seen anything yet.

I still don't think Koch has it in him to do anything. He's waiting for the contract to expire, like a cricket umpire who prefers to see if the batman will walk instead of making a call. But Ken struggles under any criticism. It's going to get much, much worse. I'm not sure he can handle hanging on until after the bye (if he's still getting paid, that is).
he couldn’t handle a sticker no chance he handles this..
