Didn't do it in a petty or nasty way either. Just answered honestly.Dimma had two cracks at Kane Cornes in the presser today! Nice stuff.Round 8: Hardwick post-match
Damien Hardwick speaks to the media following the Round 8 match against West Coast.www.richmondfc.com.au
Yeah, quite funny! Dimma would know him well. Wouldn't really be worried about what he says.Didn't do it in a petty or nasty way either. Just answered honestly.
tim browne had a better mulletWhy didn’t we take Van Royen ?
games won when scoring over 100 points = 100%
games not won when scoring under 100 points = 100%
you do the math
No idea what the percentage is but I've heard it quoted before and it's really high.I’m sure I read somewhere that (in games where at least one team gets to that score) almost all games are won by the first team to 100 points
Forwards have to lead and DX reste space as well. Jack had a better defender but you didn’t seee him lead our like Ryan did in the last and kick that nice goal.To be fair, a lot of the delivery inside our F50 didn't give JR8 much chance. None of our FWDS got good consistent delivery. Yet again, this was an unfortunate, big feature of our game today.
You think Bauer, who is even less imposing than Jack will offer more against an aerially excellent defence in Geelong? Resting Jack next game would be basically waving the white flag.We may be everyone's Grand Final but we will need to prepare like this is going to be ours.
If we want to keep this season alive it's a must win for mine. May not be mathematically a must win, but to prove we still have the ability to take it up to the best, we need to win.
What was my main concern this week was the lack of an imposing presence in the F50. Someone who would be willing to throw themselves at the footy and crash some packs.
I'd seriously consider replacing Jack with Bauer as I just don't see how he will get a look in down back.
Jack didn't offer much of anything this week and that was against arguably the worst team in the league.
Taranto screams captain to me. Just works so hard. Such a great pick up.
Loved the way he celebrated when Prestia kicked his third or second I think it was. He’s really invested, all the more frustrating how our season has startedOne thing that I absolutely love about Taranto is that he absolutely gives a *
We have seen high profile trade targets come to new clubs and not quite buy in and just Coast along getting the pay check
But with Taranto when it’s tough going you can see him still grinding away and when it gos our way you can see him get around the boys and egg them on
When he kicked that first goal you could tell he was on a mission
So this is open to a little bit of debate I guess.I’m sure I read somewhere that (in games where at least one team gets to that score) almost all games are won by the first team to 100 points
So this is open to a little bit of debate I guess.
From the Useless AFL Stats Facebook Page - they did the maths BUT they made the assumption that if the saying is FIRST team to 100 that implies the other team made it too so they only looked at games where both teams got to 100. They came up with roughly 80% first team wins.
As you can see, when challenged that the actual question does NOT imply that at all they did the math will all games where the winner kicks over 100 and that made the stat nearly 98%.
To me the question is when your team gets to 100 in a game, what's the percentage chance they will go on and win so it has to be all games.

Chimp will be at home against a slower scatters side! Our forward line is still a bit of a mess, but I feel like we finally got the midfield mix right today.
I like Prestia in that Lambert-type role and I thought Pickett was dangerous up forward too. Not sure there's a spot in either line for Cotch any more.
The old rule was first to 100 winsI thought the percentage was high 90s but wasn’t sure. I‘ve often thought it would be logical for the game to end when a team gets to 100 points (especially when they have a reasonable lead) but I guess that’s never going happen because they’d lose too much ad revenue.
Into 9...We may not make the 8 but we’ll shape it
I'd have Broady tag T.S...out of the game!Geelong beat West Coast by 47 points. Richmond beat West Coast by 46 points.
Geelong had Dangerfield and De Koning playing so take some points away if they miss. Richmond by 9 points? Yay or nay?
We may not make the 8 but we’ll shape it
Had enough by 10pm..
contracts dont mean shitContracted no he won’t
still its his 4th year he was drafted in 2019Didn't play until last year. Was a slow start because of the ACL.
lolDrivel
he might need to back in the 2s and be re-programmed like we did with baker in 2019. and .rioli in 20221There is no greater certainty than Cumberland being dropped for next week.
The worst game by a Tiger since Sam Ryan's debut. Probably worse even.
