My comments in match previews probably won’t change from here on.

Our brand is as good as any, we’ve just got to keep bringing it.

Show up like we have the last month and win our last 4 games.
At the end of each of our recent run of victories its always looked like the oppo weren’t at their best.

This is because we’ve been so dominating we’ve made them look like that.

We strangle hold them and they can’t move.

I can’t say I’ve ever seen us play with this level of intensity and pressure on the oppo.

Such a joy to watch

8 day break , reserves players will be keen to play well today, plenty of opportunities on offer. Club now in a great position to continue the attack, blanket the st kilda ruckmans influence around the ground, smash them through the corridor. Wave at the supporters as they leave at three quarter time. Go BLUES.

The number of times Pies tried to rebound out of D50 and saw a wall of Carlton pressure was simply awesome.

Let the competition mark our wins down as opposition “off days”.

Truth is we’re making them play bad.

Binns and Ed are the only two I see with any real chance of coming in.

Young unlikely.

Fisher, O’Brien, Plowman probably never again.

If we beat the Saints and Richmond beats Melbourne on Sunday then our game against the Dees could be our move to grab 4th place from them

We would have to win all four from here and Melbourne would have to lose to Tigers, Us and finally Swans at SCG in round 24. Hopefully swans are still alive at that time or want to send Buddy off with a win.

But there is now a small and growing chance it will be a Carlton v Collingwood Qualifying Final

My fear is that Brisbane choking against the dees early has stuffed our run for 4th

Although in fairness to Brisbane, we did really stuff it for ourselves with our bad patch…

My fear is us thinking to far ahead, focus on what’s in front of us and the rest will take care of itself. Our pressure has been immense and that’s our trademark, we bring that sort of heat, we win, it’s that simple. Personally I’m not a fan of playing two pure rucks, but in the absence of Harry and JSOS it’s the only option. Dow for Cez is the only change I’d make and now Dow finally has his chance. His disposal under pressure is still poor as is his decision making, but his clearance work is elite and let’s hope he brings his strengths and has a great game. Can’t wait 👊🏻

OUT: Pittonet

Send Kemp forward, and back TDK to continue perform in the ruck. Lessens the burden on the outside midfield rotation that's been picking up the slack a lot the last two games. Dow helps keep the inside rotation fresh.

Just give Kemp a simple role to shutdown an opponent and lead up to the ball carrier.

If Cerra doesn't come up, stick with the above plans and bring in Binns or O'Brien, subject to their form in today's game. The other can sub.

If McKay comes up, I'd probably give Owies the week off to keep him fresh for the remaining games. Played well, but he seemed to lack a yard at times.
Are you bringing in Young as 2nd ruck here?

xDQ82x any news on whether Harry could be ready for this game?

I'll never forget their fans bringing wooden spoons to throw at our members in the dark days of Pagan. Stain of a club with no right to arrogance after 150yrs of failing. Time to give them the whack they deserve and remind them who has all the shiny things in the trophy cabinet.

Then pull out our Voss masks?

I’m agreeing with jimmae here, what does pitto bring? 9 possies, 0 marks wtf!
Tdk 5 possies 2 marks
tdk plays much better when he’s the sole ruck, they were both very ordinary last I thought
We need to sort this out, (why we signed pitto for 4 years is beyond me.)
Thought Pittonet was influential in the ruck contests. TDK had a shocker - been a big week for him.

I think the need to play both is structural more then anything at the moment. The Collingwood interceptors had minimal influence last night and alot of that was down to TDK or Pitto being able to make a contest and bring the ball to ground

Harry is a master of the bail out contested mark.

Happy for him to come back and play further up the ground.

Roaming Richo 2008 role?

If anyone writes ‘danger game’ I will spew up. Ban them if so.

Our game plan is superb. Fog Cuners and Martin have totally changed the side.
This is 100% a danger game.

That is, we look bloody dangerous right now!

I’m going to maintain my consistent negative opinion of our chances against a reasonable team as it’s getting results.

Saints probably too good.
Happy for passmark's predictions to get a fail mark every week...
