Danger game

I agree mate but the reason TDK had a shocker is because he played as a forward/ruck. He isn't a forward and we've seen that time and time again so I don't know why we continue to try and turn him into one.
TDK couldn't stick a mark to save himself last night. Seemed to panic a bit in the contest.

Enjoy last night. Rest, recover, focus on the next - job's not done.

I hate this mob. Oh how I would love to see us smack the s**t out of them.

But you just know that they'll be up for it. This is their GF. They love nothing more than beating us and they've done it far too often in recent times.

Very very cautiously optimistic.
I have never been more confident.

Same reason why Pittonet started forward last night.

Draw an opponent away from Charlie, and bring the ball to ground for our smalls to impact the game.

Neither Pitto nor TDK were great last night, but they both were very important.
I get that but he he was the lowest ranked carlton player on the field and he didn't have any impact. Even the commentary team were saying his kicks inside F50 were poor and attack on the ball in the contests wasn't strong enough. Its not a coincidence that TDK's rich vein of form has come as a pure ruck, and then when he plays forward it is the polar opposite. I just think that if you're praising him for taking away a defender from charlie, couldn't pretty much any player do that (say McGovern who I'm a big advocate for as a forward, or even someone else). Anyway this is why I still think we can improve, which is scary for the rest of the comp.

You need to have more than 1 tall forward to work off and the Smalls need that reference point..... At the moment we don't have Jack Silvagni Nor do we have Harry McKay..... If we still had a Levi cashboult on our list we would be using him BUT we don't..... TDK is working for the team and it's a team game at this stage and yes individually and his statistics will decline.... But at the moment all the key forwards r injured

I’m agreeing with jimmae here, what does pitto bring? 9 possies, 0 marks wtf!
Tdk 5 possies 2 marks
tdk plays much better when he’s the sole ruck, they were both very ordinary last I thought
We need to sort this out, (why we signed pitto for 4 years is beyond me.)

You really need to look at the dead ball setups, there’s a reason we caned Collingwood in contested ball situations around throwins, ball up situations.

I hope Arr0w is right and Lyon brings the full blown Lyon experience and makes the game dour as all *.

Will be hilarious finishing the game having won 66-13
Seriously tho...

We need to show we can win in free-flowing matches, tough contested ones, in full-blown dour battles and any other gameplan other teams can throw at us.

i havent watched carlton beat st kilda live before, next week has to be it right?

For at least a century majority of Carlton supporters could honestly say they’d never seen Carlton lose to St.Kilda live….

I'll never forget their fans bringing wooden spoons to throw at our members in the dark days of Pagan. Stain of a club with no right to arrogance after 150yrs of failing. Time to give them the whack they deserve and remind them who has all the shiny things in the trophy cabinet.

Well... to be fair to them... they do have a lot of wooden spoons to carry around...

Probably came with their membership pack.
