They would want 2 top 10 picks plus another 1st round and possibly even another first round or a future first. Hawks offer ok but they obviously want more , especially high picks ,I would too it’s pick
That future first is that their first pick next year i.e pick 2/3/4 etc? If so thats alot.

Is he actually a poor kick though? I know your comment as well as some others were tongue in cheek, so this is not directed at you at all. Just would like to know his kicking efficiency numbers if they're out there somewhere.

Granted he doesn't have the most beautiful looking action, it's actually a bit ugly for a lefty, but seems to be very effective nonetheless (although it might just seem that way just going off highlights).

Also could be a ways off here, but he reminds me very much of a left-footed Sam Walsh in the way he moves. Although maybe just slightly more outside. I do still think his attributes make him enough of a point of difference in our midfield. Just. Would still be happy with him at 2 or 3.
I've thought Walsh myself but I've seen him mostly via Footy Stuff's" videos.

I didn't realise how truly atrocious his kicking was until I watched this highlights package:

Key word there being 'highlights.' I'm not against picking him up in the least but let's just relax. We had people wanting Hollands back in 2020. That's the effect that highlights have

Lmao WC are so ****ed.

They are so far back and all the draft capital they have is Harley Reid who is going to leave in 3 years.
It’s a bit like us and JHF when we knocked back the offers . We took the gamble ,he left, but we were compensated. However, it does put your rebuild back a yr or two.

Pick 4 + Hawks future 1st and Brockman is a big offer. Will likely be another top 5 pick next year (And could be a top 2 if things go poorly). Seems like a bit of a reckless offer to me, if the price is more than that then surely we head to the draft with our pile of picks.

This is dangerous territory now. If they knocked back that offer then they’re only going to accept 2/3 + 8ish and possibly more than that.

If we end up with 2,3 and 8 I hope we take them all to the draft.

Please Brady, you’re doing well. Don’t ruin it by dropping your pants now.

Geelong would have given them 8 and more for that hawks future first.

They could have walked in with 4 & 8 plus some, instead of just Reid.

Lost the plot.

We won’t offer both those picks, 2 and that 7 from GWS will be the key but there will be more on top , it’s too much. 1697262282794.gif

Pick 2 has all the power here. Eagles would have to sell the trade and it’s very hard to do that when you’re picking at 5 or 6 and then death riding a team that had an improved season. Much like the idea of us trading back from 2 and 3 sure, you get one of the higher rated kids but you’re still just getting the one everyone skipped.

We tried to tell you all that the club wasn't desperate to sell.
We also tried to tell you that it's McKercher and not Curtin we want. Pick 4 (which would be 5) would probably have got Curtin.

Pick 2 is the silver goose. No deal happens without it.

Like many of you, I don't want it to happen from a WCE perspective nor do I think it suits North Melbourne to do the required trade. You've got a trove of picks. This is the chance to set up the rebuild.

Reid would be for the marketing department, not for the football club.

Have Mckercher. Take him.
