I was wondering why we hadn’t seen much of the stuff they did with the 1987 side before the game. Obviously it was because they were putting that clip together. There’s a lot of work that’s gone into splicing similar bits of the two games together.

Thanks! I started it as I was frustrated having to go hunting for the bits and pieces of eagles content especially if the club didn't post it.

I try to keep it to the pieces that are buried in the footy shows to save having to waste 30/60 minutes for a 1 minute moment.

The kid is still learning and will get better with more games. It's a pity some "supporters" cant stop writing young kidds off early in their careers. I think Chesser will be a star in time.

It was really interesting listening to Gillbee on the latest Coast to Coast; he came over before the WAFL offer and was just planning to work like us regular schlubs (and still has a '9-5' job). He's also apparently the spiritual WAFL captain.



I'm also wondering if his GWS do was a wig worn for a gag or something:

I love Chess, definitely wasn’t having a go at him if that was the insinuation. Poor bastard had his ankle destroyed in his first match sim and is one of the best trainers. I hope he stays in the 22 all year.

Definitely not having a go at you, i am having a go at people that like sticking the boot in to young kidds after only a handful of games. Unfortunately Chess is the one they are going after now that petch has had a good start to the season.

Given what’s happened to Chess there’s just no argument to delist him to date, to say otherwise is ignorant of his injury. Until this year I’ve been waiting to delist Petch but have to say he’s our most improved player this year along with Hough, hope he keeps going.

Ya but the Vics do it in a classy way. It's done with a sort of detached irony, a certain panache.
