If Mumford, indeed wanted to go. Our best option would be trading him to GWS in hope of the compensation pick they activated (10-13?). I'm unaware of Michael Gibbons, so i can't really comment there.
I imagine with all the effort the swans have put into him, they'll make sure they acquire him. What ever means necessarily, i'd be extremely surprised if he didn't end up at the Swans next year.
I think they're the least of our worries with Membrey, Lamb and even Cunningham capable of playing that role. KPD's would definetily be our main target.
Another promising player in Perris, for next to nothing ;)
Anyone aware of L. Parkers current contract sitaution? I thought they would of...
Mumfords recent injury, as someone sated before is nothing more than a freak injury. I think it's essential i retract my comment, as although it's my belief..it's been seen as outlandish by a few fellow Swans supporters, meaning i must be a little of the ball ;) Although, you can't disagree that...
You've made some valid points in regards to Mumford, although that wasn't exactly the point. Despite how much I'd love B. Reid to be at the swans, Mumford wouldn't be enough trade wise to warrant his services.
Mumford wouldn't warrant B. Reid in a straight swap. An already declining ruckman for a young CHB who's previously been AA. Saying that, if it were somehow possible, grabbing Reid would ensure our Backline for 5+ years.
Any chance of Membrey getting a run this week? I'd imagine with all the injuries and his dominance in the reserves, he would of undoubtedly earned a run in the seniors?
Also, any chance of Bolton being rested this week or next?
Honestly, i'm beginning to loose faith in Matt Cameron at a tremendous rate. He constantly seems to be misinforming us, with predictions which are ridiculously off. I understand it's completely unintentional..but geez, it's hard to actually take his reports serious anymore.
Rangas aren't actually human, but a failed pentagon experiment. They've assimilated into society quite well, it's only a matter of time before the general public knows of their true purpose.
Honestly though, I can guess they have the same pain tolerance as everyone else?
I really hope ROK doesn't miss this game, especially for his milestone. Although if the unfortunate rumours are true it'll be exciting seeing Membrey run out in his debut. Hoping for the best.
Apologies, my javascript thingy doesn't seem to be working, meaning I can't use the "reply" feature. This is in reference to the Motlop hypothetical, I agree. Jed Lamb+1st rounder wouldn't cut it, I'd imagine we'd need a higher 1st rounder (presuming we finish top 4) somewhere in the range of...
Reid has essentially been playing as the only genuine key forward, at the age of 21..lacking the physical requirements needed. Whereas Black has an extra preseason under his belt, as well as playing in a forward line with the likes of Petrie, another key forward to take the number 1 defender.
Trade:
White (Opportunities)
Lamb (Opportunities)
Retire:
Bolton
Shaw (Depending on injury)
I'm not familiar with the reserves, so I won't even bother commenting on the delisting's. I genuinely believe there's a chance Shaw may retire. He's simply too old to recover properly from serious...
