It’s amazing how the media and so many experts have failed to recognise one of the main ingredients to Collingwood’s success in 2018, a key element that could turn this season around and have us contending for a flag in 2022.
Buckley’s beard!
Maybe he needs to shave it off then grow it again...
100% Agree.
Do you give Bucks credit for that successful patch? If so why hasn’t he been able to work that magic more consistently over the last decade as coach?
If not then who gets the credit? What was the magic ingredient behind 2018. Players? Assistants?
I’m no expert but this shit...
Choco Williams is an actual AFL premiership coach and he can’t get a top job gig at a second club. No chance Bucks will coach again at the highest level if it doesn’t work out with us this season.
G’day Big Footy and happy new year!
it’s been a while...
I just looked up the history of West Coast Eagles board members etc. They have never had the same President/ Chairman in place for more than 5 years.
He then went on to say that he thinks north will play in the finals.
So Kingy has just predicted that the Pies will lose this match and fail to make the 8.
I agree! It looks like he understands the game plan and plays to the structure.
In that sense he has become a decent depth player. Glass half full for me!
Yeah nah not twice in one day saying exactly the same thing. No ones got time for that!
It's a big commitment getting on talkback radio. First you've got to keep calling until you get through then wait on the line for 45 minutes IF they eventually put you on air.
It's bad enough that I was...
The other day I heard the same club plant call SEN twice in the same day. Middle age lady with an Irish accent. "Leave Bucks alone" she said "he's a club champion and a good coach just let him do his job". She called in first thing that morning then again in the afternoon. Sometimes you've gotta...
The transition deal became redundant after we won the flag in 2010. Eddie should have renegotiated with MM and Bucks to allow MM to remain head coach for one more season beyond 2011.
Imagine if a player such as Dane Swan announces his retirement early on in the season then hits a purple patch...
Excellent call! This would be the best thing for the players.
Paul Roos was only meant to be caretaker coach for a couple of months after the Swans sacked Rocket Eade. Roosy did such a good job in that short period that the Swans Reneged on their deal with Terry Wallace who was set to take...
Totally agree with this and yet, with his career in the balance, Buckley decides to give Josh Thomas a couple of games. It's like he really has no f@&#ing idea.
