    Interestingly named bowling/batting pairs

Stone and Wood shared the new ball at some point this year. Arshdeep and Bumrah must be some chance to do the same on the Indian tour..

Mega Thread Non-Freo AFL Discussion 2024

He's just a nothing player, running around on the outside not getting his jumper dirty. We're well rid of him if this effort is anything to go by.

That's a wonderful photo, tells a full story.

    Pitch invader gets lifetime ban

As I understand if he continues to go games he can then be charged with trespassing which is a potentially more serious criminal offence. The threat of that would usually be enough to keep most people on the straight and narrow.

Oppo Camp Former Freo player watch

I remember the fantastic mark he took for the Giants running back with the flight in 2016, full of courage and no little skill. It's pathetic what he has become.

Review Purple Tiger Tamers - Freo beat Richmond by 54 points at the MCG

Young's 2nd goal was pure A-grade. Worth watching just for that.

    Welcome Welcome Luke Jackson!!!

I tell you what if Luke Jackson can win a flag, two league fairest and bests, be all-Australian captain and play more than 207 games in a row without missing for either suspension or injury and all that time never once shirking the issue, then we'll all have been on a hell of a ride. Boy has the...

Toast Welcome to Freo Jye Amiss!!! (pick 8 2021 AFL Draft)

I hope it turns out better than the year Pav and Buddy kicked the most goals in the season but somehow a Victorian still won the Coleman.

    2nd Test New Zealand v Australia March 8-12 0830hrs @ Hagley Oval

Among Aussie quicks only Lillee, McGrath, Lindwall, Cummins and now Hazlewood have over 200 wickets at under 25. Some seriously good company there. If old mate Shamar does as well it will certainly be entertaining I give you that.

    2nd Test New Zealand v Australia March 8-12 0830hrs @ Hagley Oval

Haze finally got his bowling average under 25 after this match. Behind only Bumrah in the fast bowling stakes on present form.

    7Cricket Vs Fox Cricket

I hope so. Ussie at least is likable, has an opinion and can express it. Warner has none of these qualities.

    1st Test Australia v Pakistan Dec 14-18 1250hrs @ Perth Stadium

Yeah their bowling looks ropey as. Shaheen is a beauty but he can't do it all. One of the debutants will bowl absolutely dross, guaranteed.

    Great images in cricket.

    Not Peter Willey?

Keep in mind too that up until about August 15th is peak holiday and travel time in Japan. 2 and a half weeks from Aug 20th or thereabouts would be sweaty but good imo as it's outside peak season. Some years the weather has even cooled down a little by then but don't bet on it.

How do you go with humidity? I find Tokyo impossible at that time of year because of the heat island effect. The further you can get away from built up areas the better but it's kind of difficult in Japan.

He was 18 when he scored those 2 tons PB. 18! Best tons by an Indian batsmen in Australia. 1. Tendulkar 114 at the WACA, 1991/2 2. Tendulkar 116 at the MCG, 1999/00 3. Laxman 167 at the SCG, 1999/00 4. Kohli 123 at Perth Stadium, 2018/9 5. Sandeep Patil 174 at the Adelaide Oval, 1980/1

Azzhuriddin didn't get 90 in Perth that series, he got 11 and 24. Tendulkar got 114 of the best runs I've ever seen live.

Like Sarfraz' revenge! To be fair though wasn't the most stupid way I've seen Hilditch get out.

    Bishan Bedi has died

What a great bowler, every ball a masterclass in controlling the speed, trajectory, amount of spin, length and direction of the ball. Only took one 10 for in test cricket at the first test I ever attended in 1977 at the WACA. Still the only spinner to get a 10 for in a test at the WACA.

Go to the RAC and get an international driver's license. Speeds are slow because everywhere is congested so it's safe in that sense. I stick to 120 on the expressways. The thing I notice when I'm driving on the expressways is so the relentless flow of traffic, especially trucks. You've got to be...

When are you going? The JR rail passes are going up about 50% from October so keep that in my mind. The individual JR passes (JR West/ JR East etc) may be better value depending on your plans. Try hyperdia.com to get an idea of schedules and prices for the shinkansen. $1k is definitely over the...
