The umpire repeatedly yelled “TOUCHED” over and over again, so Port let it through the goal. Then the umpire does a score review to check that it actually was touched. They couldn’t change the score could they? Port only let it through because of the touched call.

Apart from us trying to hold on to a win for far too long, that was a great win against a top tier opponent. That was also the best game I can Remember Owies playing.

I never rated him from the games I watched him play for Nth. But that was a long time ago, I could say the same about Jones and he really blossomed. It would be fantastic if he could come on, key defender quality is certainly not a strength of ours.

Was JUH to the doggies due to a scholarship? I had heard that he was originally in the Cats zone. The Dogs have been blessed for talls from academy/FS. Darcy, JUH is an enormous boost to their spine.

Earlier in the thread you posted a Cripps highlights package. It made me feel a bit silly giving someone else BOG (Walsh). After watching the replay, I would have given Cripps BOG, but wow Walsh was fantastic.

It’s almost as they we continually try to lose these games, eventually it just simply has to happen. When the Crows scored the goal to get them back to within 2 goals, it felt like a fait accompli they would get the next.

It’s an amazing midfield trio. Rozee, Butters, Hornet. Rozee the oldest and has only just turned 24. Personally, I think they are doomed with “finals are scary” Hinckley, but they have the drivers.

He would be close to a minimum salary player. Unless there is a major turnaround in his form, nobody is going to offer much at all. If either of those teams want him, they would only need to offer a bit more career security.

Scoring power from small forwards is definitely not a strength of ours. Key defenders is the other key weakness. We are strong, but those are obvious weaknesses of ours.

I’m a bit surprised that Hollands is straight in. It’s pleasing that he must have put in the work over the off season.

I don’t think it’s harsh at all. He made a very poor split second decision, it happens, but I hope he (and the rest of the team) has learnt a lesson.
