Mmmm...I like Hrovat as much as the next guy, but I reckon this is a bit of a stretch.
Most of his kicks went nowhere near a teammate and his DE was 60. Also sprayed a shot at goal on the run, IIRC.
Great player - needs to work on his disposal, for mine.
Well...when that specific mistake is part of a piece of play that will result in you winning the game if successful, I don't think it's too much of a stretch to suggest that the mistake has cost you the game.
I have absolutely no problem sticking the boots in at any opportunity.
The sheer arrogance of this organisation and those associated with it has been nothing short of staggering. This is an attitude mirrored, in my experience, by a majority of their supporters. We're Carlton - **** the rest...
I like Hrovat. His disposal yesterday however was abominable. Far too rushed, and either went to no-one or to them.
He'd be going before Fletch for mine. Particularly with Morris still missing.
This.
Our draw dictates that we SHOULD play finals after such a strong start.
Will we? Maybe not. We are a young side who is throwing everything into every week. I'm not sure that's sustainable for 23 weeks yet. That said - 7 of the next 10
games against the bottom 5 present an opportunity...
I wouldn't say past it. But there is no denying the game asks more of it's coaches now than it ever has - and this will only continue to grow.
Thus younger, fresher bodies and minds are probably more suited to it. Further - blokes who have actually played the modern game are probably better...
Because that's his "market" value.
Ergo - if a lower club wants him, they'll likely have to pay overs for him - or if a top four club wants him, they either get a bargain or will need to trade up.
