The bye next week hurts. A couple of games to watch are the Bombers away to the Dragons and Wonders away to Phoenix. We just happen to play the Dragons and Phoenix in our last two games. Win one of those and we're in. Win both and hopefully we can find our way into the top 4.

Well, my frosty Bears, let's gather 'round for a tale from the icy battlefield up at the Snow Dome. Now, I'll admit, we had a bit of a peculiar start – arriving fashionably late like a possum at a disco. The Demons thought they were off to the races, kickin' the first 4 goals as if they'd found the winning lottery ticket.

But then, in true Bear fashion, we clawed our way back into the contest. It was like watchin' a thriller at the cinema – plenty of twists, turns, and excitement. The Demons had no idea what hit 'em!

We managed to snatch a draw from the jaws of defeat! A draw! I didn't even know draws were a thing in qooty; I thought that was a soccer special. It's like tryin' to choose between pancakes and waffles – sometimes, you just can't pick a winner!

This reminds me of a story from back in Kansas. You see, we once played a match where the scoreboard operator fell asleep and accidentally set the score to "undefined." For most of the game, nobody had any idea who was winnin'. It was a head-scratcher, I tell ya.

But, you know, draws are like a friendly handshake after a hard-fought battle. It's like sayin', "You did good, and we did good, so let's call it a day."

So, onward, my Bear buddies, to more games, more surprises, and who knows, maybe more draws? We're keepin' things interesting, that's for sure! ​

Including this weekend, the Bears have played in 3 draws in their history. The previous 2 occasions were back in Season 22 and Season 27. What do these 2 seasons have in common? Well, the Bears made the Grand Final in both of those seasons.
So here we come, Grand Final.​
