No more than 19ish....How many overs from Broad next session??
Probably starts with a 4-5 over spell. Will depend on how many wickets occur during the spellHow many overs from Broad next session??
Cuppa tea and a mint slice time.
I find your avatar very disturbing.England had deep point for nearly that whole session. Only 1 slip for Green - a known early nicker - when he was on 0 and new to the crease. Absolute crickets about any of it. If that was Australia we wouldn't have heard the end of it.
And a new ball to face. As we know, the new ball can mean wickets but also runs. It's a slow pitch and the ball is soft. Scoring is difficult.
Two spells first 7 then 5 if neededHow many overs from Broad next session??
Same, cashed in on the rain delayI had a nap earlier
From late night watching of 9 Now, I have learned that with Caruso's Pee Less, you'll be able to watch more cricket with less bathroom breaksNot sure how anyone can sleep sweating bullets
Had an 8am start tomorrow... Colleague called in sick so now switched to the arvo shift at 1pm.Well done lads! We win that session. I'm going to try to tap out here, regrettably. Gutted I'll miss what will be our best win in a long, long time if we get the job done (IMO).
Probably catch you all in 20 minutes when my nerves have refused to even allow me the 4 hours of sleep I'm trying to sneak in.
I suppose there's always a chance I might win the lotteryWe could get the runs in 21 overs, no new ball needed
21 overs before the new ball. Broad will bowl a few after tea. Along with Robinson and Ali/Root. Gotta get that number down to less than 40 by the time the new ball is taken.
Probably starts with a 4-5 over spell. Will depend on how many wickets occur during the spell
A short one maybe 3 or 4. They'll save him for the new ball. It's their only chance to run through us. Any more and they'll gas himTwo spells first 7 then 5 if needed
Part of the game as a fan, I enjoy seeing the blurry eyes of fellow cricket nuffies the next morning.I timed a trip to Europe well this year, so good being able to watch this at a decent time! I do not miss the sleepless nights!
That was Tubby just talking to the 9 audience, instead of the Sky broadcast.Tubby said we only just won that session....
WTF?
We lost the nights watchman and Head....
Did Tubby want us to hit them all over the park and lose no wickets???
They'll want him fresh for the new ball in 22 overs time, so they'd be wary of giving him a big spell before then.
He's the main threat, has to come on straight after tea, even if its just for two or three overs.
Yes, the pro-England narratives and cheerleading has been/is often a bit too obvious...Think I'm watching a different game to the commentators...that was a brilliant session for us. Uzzie is playing this to perfection...setting us up for a crack later on at tired bowlers with wickets in hand.
