Pakistan's batting looks pretty solid, if the pitches are flat which I am expecting could see some 100s from there side as well.

But... But... But... WA people love their cricket and it's the perfect place to host the Boxing Day Test!

Inb4 - The test is starting on a weekday while school is on... I've been at a packed WACA to watch the first day of an Ashes test on a Thursday in December, this is people CHOOSING not to go.

The tests always used to start on Friday. And yes it should be at the WACA.

Just go for Cricket board bingo:

"Pitch is a road, draw"

"Starc's pie shop...."

"Cummins is woke...'

"Langer wouldn't let this happen....."

"We should pick insert anyone with the slightest connection to WA".....

"Insert post bagging any player who has a chance of being replaced by any player from WA"

"Just retire Warner...."

"FFS Marnus...."

"FFS Carey....."
'Inglis would've caught that'

Ravi and Sunny can be critical of India at times, they aren't just Indian cheerleaders like some of their commentators.

I would rather listen to them than Hayden and Langer who are like Aussie cheerleaders.

Of course an Ashes test will draw a bigger crowd than a test against Pakistan especially when you have lots of English supporters there too.
The whinging and moaning by those out West about how hard they are done by (in terms of not getting a look in for the Boxing Day test) is not matched by any obvious commitment to going and watching live cricket. They can't hide behind playing Pakistan for having 6,000 or 7,000 people turn up to the first day of a test.

The Barmy Army took up about 2 bays at the WACA, the rest were Australia supporters, who are choosing not to turn up now.
