Well, i disagree with them. The 54,000 people at last year's final might disagree.

Kinda makes sense... he's secured his spot in the team at the same time as Carey's looks a little shakier.
Lance Morris in the test squad - sure he has the "X-Factor" with his raw pace, and he's young. But I'm not sure he's even in the top 2 or 3 best seamers in the WA squad at the moment. I'd have Paris and Richardson ahead of him. Incredible the depth in WA cricket right now.

All lives are equal is a political statement? Would have thought it a statement of fact myself. But it is a political statement. Not sure why Khawaja would dispute that.
Goes to show how forgotten the role of vice captain can be. Forgot he'd lost it, and that it was white ball only. What does Carey have to do with the vice captaincy?
LOL people go to Taylor Swift concerts too. Not a great point you're making. The 54,000 people at last year's final might disagree.

Anyone know how he fell out of favour in that role, and what he's done to earn it back again?Head at VC the only surprise

Could only manage a drawn series against Bangladesh recently. To be fair to NZ this NZ is a stackload better than the last one that was here, and they were competitive last time anyway. If we are going to flog a team I'd take smacking England senseless

Didn't we go for a while with no official Veep when Cummins was named captain?
EDIT: Actually, a quick look says he was vice captain a couple of times when Cummins was injured and Smith captain, including back in March.
Every summer people talk up the opposition. Hell, I remember the commentators last summer talking about how good the West Indies are and how they're going to challenge us.We always hear the Pakistan are capable of anything crap before they roll out & get slaughtered.
