Lance Morris in the test squad - sure he has the "X-Factor" with his raw pace, and he's young. But I'm not sure he's even in the top 2 or 3 best seamers in the WA squad at the moment. I'd have Paris and Richardson ahead of him. Incredible the depth in WA cricket right now.

There are lots of cricketers going round who are good performers at first class level but don't have the weapons needed to trouble Test batsmen. One of those weapons is pace.

Richardson is ahead of all our reserve bowlers in theory but needs to spend some time playing instead of being injured. If he was consistently fit I am pretty sure he would be ahead of Morris.

Generally speaking you need to pick em when they’re young and quick and not injured, I feel they have to find a spot this summer for him at some stage

Didn't we go for a while with no official Veep when Cummins was named captain?

EDIT: Actually, a quick look says he was vice captain a couple of times when Cummins was injured and Smith captain, including back in March.

Smith was VC for the Ashes. Pretty sure he was VC for India and the Test matches before that.
