still a long way to go in this series....but so far it doesn't look good

Coldplay Cummins....might haunt him for a while ..you don't give up playing for your country to go to a bloody rock concert

He is allowed to have a life outside of playing cricket and calling Coldplay a rock concert is bit much, they are soft rock at best.

If he'd gone to a proper rock concert like Midnight Oil people would be more forgiving, his biggest crime was going to see Coldplay

Great let’s let him score until he gets bored and slogs out. If we spent 20-40 runs on each player to make a mistake or get bored we should be chasing about 350
Dot ball pressure worked pretty well for Mcgrath

I just am wondering how we improve here and everyone gave me the answer of sorry our bowlers just aren’t good enough they don’t have a gear to go up. I guess we just hope bumrah bowls too much and has to miss some tests. And our B graders are better than their C grade rest of the attack.

We’re flat at the moment, and a lot of that has to do with the morale drop from the two hours of carnage yesterday.

This is a top class attack, and they will bounce back. Bumrah won’t be as much of a handful on other decks, and things will even out.

On the batting side of things, I know most people here want to sack everyone but that would be entirely counterproductive. Perhaps Marnus could use some time in the shield to get his mojo back, but even then I don’t think chucking inexperienced kids into the lions den with Bumrah (and Shami later in the series) would be helpful at all.

Things will turn around, just need to be patient and stick by the lads.

We’re currently looking at the 4th innings starting on day 2 which means you can bat as slow a strike rate as you want. Dot ball pressure won’t exist with this much time. It’s not like a 5 day match where you declare for extra time to bowl at them

Worse yet I don’t think we can sack everyone cause there’s no one better. Reminds me of my saints. “Drop ___” but the player that comes in is even worse
