Why do you say that?
There'll be all kinds of threads started with things like "heard from a players uncle that Buddy Franklin wants out and has nominated Carlton", "pick 88 + Browne + Anderson for Goddard" and "We should trade Judd for Richmond's 4th and 5th round picks to build up our youth stocks because I don't seeing us winning a flag with this list". Brace yourself :thumbsu:

Ahhh, I see. Fair enough. I just figured that if we had a thread to post all trade week stuff in, it would save the board getting too cluttered.

I'll be lucky to avoid the sack this week with the amount of time i'll be spending on this shit.

I'll be stoked if we land 14, but I doubt it will happen.

Hahahaha... I'm not working at the moment, so I'm planning on spending the entire trade week right here on the laptop, listening to AFL.com's trade week radio and refreshing the AFL page every few minutes. I have a stock of diet Coke and Pure Blondes, so I'm all set. :D

How long do you guys think it will be before we see some Carlton moves being made? It's only an hour and a half into trade week and I'm already sick of the suspense.

Tuned into Trade Week Radio which is being hosted by Hutchy. He described Terry Wallace (his guest/offsider) as "the best list manager in the business at the moment". I guess a few Tigers supporters and their current coach would dispute that.

FMD, if this is the best way to get info on trades as they happen, it is going to be a long week.:(

I couldn't even get it to work. Sounds like that's a good thing.

He didn't say football list manager did he Jabba73. He manages a pretty mean weekly grocery list these days I here. Not sure if he's really that good at the groceries though that you'd say best :p

Don't try too hard Sin. Just threw to the sixth ad break in 10 minutes once again calling Wallace the best list manager in the business.

Maybe Wallace is in charge of the list of sponsors they need to plug on the show. Seems to be a fair bit of that going on as well.

They are basically getting people to call up and say what players they want at the club then using that to fill in 2-3 minutes of air time. Next they are moving onto the emails they have received. This is going to get ridiculous.

Hutchy just said it had been an interesting morning. NOTHING HAS HAPPENED! Will let you know if anything happens of note.

I'm listening to Trade Week Radio as well. I want to keep up to date with things as they happen and get any rumors floating around, but if I have to listen to a week of this, I may shoot myself.

Talking to Col Young (one of the best player agents in the business - that line is already starting to grate) and he mentioned Spangher wanting to come back to Vic and in the same breath saying players like Thornton come up as available. Not sure if that means we are looking at a deal with the WCE.

I know this doesn't impact the 2010 draft, but we seem to be talking about potential draft picks around here, so I figured I would ask you guys. Can someone give me a bit of a run-down of Dylan Buckley? What sort of player is he? When is he expected to come to Carlton?
