I'd take the chance at 5 players inside the top 22 instead of just 4. Just my thoughts though.

Could get two very good sliders at 21 and 22.

If we take 5 players from the draft then we would have to cut a contracted player.

Going to throw up a left field option to 'replace' Stanley - Would anyone object to bringing in Shaun McKernan as a DFA?

Has been let go by the Crows and no one seems to be talking about him finding a new home.

Has all the talent and started the year strong but was pushed out by the Jenkins/Walker combo (as well as Sando's man crush on Pods).

I think he would be a solid option to fill the fwd/ruck hole left by Stanley. If no other club is talking to him (hard to believe) then we might even get him as a rookie.

At the moment we have 8 free list spots (that's assuming that Milera is gone)

We've committed to upgrading 3 rookies, and picking up 1 other player (Membrey), so we currently have 4 spare list spots.

If we end up 4, 6, 7, 21 and 22, you'd think that Schneider is gone.

Boyd has been offered a deal believed to be six years and in excess of $6 million.

I'm going to be disappointed if we don't get Petracca, but it's hard to argue with picks 4, 6 and 7. I don't want 21 or 22 included in that deal though, as much as I love Petracca 4, 6, 7, 21 and 22 as possible first 5 picks is great. We'll probably have to send 21 or 22 back their way though... :/

Still sad Petracca may not be in the RW&B next year. Oh well, at least he'll probably want out after 2 years

Even on 1 Knee he would be a better option then FAT boy McKenzie

Wow, Pelican has balls of steel. Would be disappointed for this deal to fall over because we are at a standstill over pick 21. I don't think that will happen though, I get the feeling we are going to pull this off. If so, the Pelican is a genius.
