Surely Matty Larkins young fella would be getting close to TAC age, Robbis Scotts as well l think he was in Qland a year or so ago playing.
If l recall correctly both boys was ripping up the junior years.

There is bloke down in Tassie, apparently spent a year or two at another club when he was young and let his draft selection number get to him, but has gone back to Tassie and been a great guy, I hear he helps the Grannies from the local age care facility do there shopping on Thursday and is really good with the young kids in his team. Is he the failed KPF you could be thinking of?

Glenelg as a playing assistant, but he has headed back to Tasmania.

If true, the dogies won't match this. Higgins is ours.

He should be played as an explosive inside mid, or fail that, at half back.

Without having a big impact on games I think Jones has shown enough to suggest he can be a good player. He is 197cm and 98kg, a very solid mark and reasonably athletic from what ive seen.
Lets not forget players like hawkins, kennedy (both 197cm) were not much for first 4-5 years of their career. Both showed glimpses of talent though. It was around the 23-24 yo mark when they started to kick bags and impact games.
I think Jones has talent and North could give him a better opportunity to fulfil it.

Being the 23rd player for a potentially underdone Cyril, If he's any good, or would get a game consistently we should be making calls to him right now.

I am very aware of how Swallow battled to gain his spot in the team - and then flourished.

That is very much the exception, not the rule. In any case, I thought Swallow showed far more as a young player than Jacobs ever has - I think the latter will be lucky to just make it AFL level let alone be a club champion and elite player in the league.

If you think he has it in him though, fair enough then lets wait and see if proven right - I will be first to admit i'm wrong if he does reach such heights.
