We need to force someone talented into the PSD even if we don't land Carlisle. To land nobody decent would be a big opportunity lost to bring in upgraded talent.

We won't finish last next season so we need to act on the advantage it provides.

Eggs before they hatch...

Our list is pretty bad right now

He considers himself like Harry Taylor as far as reading the play and like Andrew Mackie as far as setting up play from the backline. Pace and strength were the two knocks he had on himself. Tells me he is not a KPD but a third tall who likes to get up field.

Scouts/coaches have suggested he will have midfield capabilities.

Josh Gibson types are a bit of a rarity in terms of holding down a key post IMO. With his height, reading of the play and his creativity, I still think third tall and a possible move into the midfield is where he is at.

This video suggests recruiters thought he could become a burst midfielder.

His form guide in the NEAFL and AFL shows he is hit and miss against taller opponents.

Really a pinch hitting tall, not one of your two KPDs, a tall flanker with potential cameos in the midfield from what I can see. AFL different to the U18s where he was holding his own as a KPD.

Hmmmmm. I haven't been tracking his progress, so I'll refrain from disputing with the evidence provided.

But colour me skeptical that Plowman could be a midfielder (even part-time). Third tall I will buy

Hey guys,

This is the wrong forum, but I couldn't really find a suitable one for this question.

All of my profile history and data were erased at the weekend, and no one from BF has been able to figure out how or why - has anyone had this happen to them? And, could they get their profile back? I imagine a few of you would be pretty annoyed if you lost your profiles, all previous posts, etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

I have a feeling they are thinking a Pavlich like midfield stint.

So you asked admin via the contact us link and they said they didn't know?

Nobody here is going to be able to help if the tech people can't figure it out.

Wow, cheers for the support there mate.

I'm also now getting alerts for 'Blue and Silver' - very weird.

And for the record, yes - I have used a PC before and feel quite confident. No, I've never hacked anything ever before and I wouldn't know how.

There is a help and support forum. Try there.

54 goals from 85 games would suggest that he isn't much of a forward at all..

Figures are definitely aided by the 8 he kicked against the Dogs last year.

And in how many of those 85 games did he play forward...?

He actually does alright up front - good pair of hands, great reach, just the kicking that lets him down on occasion, but I'd say that's more to do with a lack of confidence than a lack of ability. He, Hurley and Hooker have been thrown every which way in that side over the last couple of seasons, and just when they start to look settled, they get moved again.

Give any of them an extended run at one spot and they'd likely be in the mix for the AA squad.

Carlton is pursuing former No.3 pick from the 2012 Draft, Lachie Plowman who is reportedly seeking a move back to Victoria.

It's understood former GWS recruiting boss, now Carlon recruiter, Stephen Silvagni has a strong relationship with Plowman, a key defender, whom he drafted from the Calder Cannons.

The Blues are also interested in trading for Plowman's GWS ruckman, Andrew Phillips.

Plowman has only managed 20 games in the past three seasons, whilst Philips has been starved of opportunity, registering only 14 games during the same period.

Plowman definitely sounds like he is a Andrew Mackie type player. Not a KPP.

Which is exactly what we need, for the right price. We have Weitering and lots of beanstalks including Jaksch, Jones, Watson, Giles, Casboult, Rowe, Foster who are all 195-199cm. But few in the 189-192cm range.

If I see Dick or Tuohy playing 3rd tall on Gunston or Goodes again I will seriously lose my temper. Neither can compete in the air with blokes 2-3 inches taller.

You need to post a link when quoting articles.

It has been copied from a Facebook fan page with no link to the article.

OK, new here didn't know...Article was from the Age not the Facebook link you have posted and I referred to the Age with the cut and paste.

Sorry Professor!

Much interesting info on Plowman. I note he dislocated an elbow in his pre-draft year and dislocated an elbow in 2015. Lightening struck twice or is this a possible on-going problem we do not want to buy?
