So we will play at that game and release some of our own information via someone who has spent a fair bit of time with us, Emma Quayle.

Now we have another option out there to take pick five away from the Dons - hey Adrian, you wanna mess with us again or you want to reconsider our offer?

We started our rebuild with pick 12 & 13, they have a chance to do it with 4 & 5, what a foolish man to give that up? Parish, Curnow or Francis - do the deal you muppet!

I've never said this before, but the longer it drags - the closer even I'm getting to saying lets go the the PSD.

Get Carlisle, Freeman and end up with more first round picks then what we started with... sounds allright!

If GWS would trade 8 for 23 & 24, then surely bombers would do that trade themselves, not wait to give us the picks. (So effectively the trade would be 5 & 63 for Carlisle and 8, never gonna happen).
It's would have to be 23&24&25 for 8.

I'm not sure who came up with this 200point difference rule because it's not officially written anywhere and makes no sense. If it's a particularly strong top ten, then the afl can't block trades because of a point system that is purely for FS/academies.

People just mention random/made-up things on here and then 5 pages later suddenly it's gospel.

Someone on SS mentioned that there was an article by Robbo in the HS today saying that jake Carlisle and Chapman hated Goddard for being a selfish flog and that Carlisle had punched Goddard in the head at training? Did anyone read that?

Yep, I am at the point that I just want to screw them over now. The arragonce of that mob and their supporters. They did serious damage to the whole completion with the drug scandal and there whole " it's everybody else's fault " attitude and now the way the are getting away with slamming our club.
I feel bad for Ameet Bains and co because all they have done is be very professional and yet the Essendon media critisize them
I now would like us to just try and screw Essendon, and start slagging them in the media to fight fire with fire

Yes, he is unhinged - but he is probably thinking, yes, I've got them to finally put pick 5 on the table - I'll keep at it and work them over a bit more to get closer to a deal that makes me look like a smooth operator. He would be thinking something like 5 for 25 and Carlisle is a win for him.

So as soon as he puts his information out via the media again, what would you do? I'd make it clear as hell through a media outlet that pick 5 is no guarantee for Essendon implying that if he keeps playing his rubbish games he will be left behind.

Eventually, if he hasn't cracked and given us 23 & 25, we give him an offer similar to but not as good as what he would've received had he just let it run its course in the first place. Then we come out roses because we got the deal done our way, we get the extra first rounder anyway and Dodoro has egg on his face.

Either that or we just say **** him, we are going to the PSD

1. Brian Speaking told us that Essendon were likely to fold for 2 second rounders, and we were looking to trade up to pick 8. We would then somehow use these picks to get Weller or JOM or both.

2. Everyone was happy about this first part, sceptical about the second.

3. Some reporter tweeted that the Essendon deal was shit and that Essendon have counter offered Carlisle and a 3rd round pick for pick 5 (lol).

4. Age suggesting that we're talking to Port to get their pick 10 and next year's first rounder to help them in the Dixon trade with pick 5. Then we'll trade pick 10 to Essendon. Few people on here are happy about that, few of us still think pick 10 is overs.

5. Essendon supporters still threatening to use their 23 and 25 to trade up to pick 8, but haven't seemed to done so yet. Maybe GWS like everyone else doesn't like them?

6. AFL made up another rule on the go, apparently you can't trade picks that have over 200 points discrepancy between the two trades. Not sure what they plan to do with future draft picks though.
