24 days left till the draft. Only 200 more pages of "Pick 7 - English Vs SPS and the rest"

Maybe we should just have a poll.

I like polls, I might do just that

EDIT: Ok so I just included a bunch of guys who have either been linked to us in some way or could potentially still be around at 7.

Let me know if there are others I should include, so far we have 10 in the poll. And it's who you want us to draft, not who you expect.

Unfortunately I think the chance of SPS being available at #7 is pretty slim. It might even be better if Brisbane didn't bid on Bowes @ #3 but Carlton did @ #5, as I could see GCS considering their choice of Brodie or Scrimshaw @ #4 before Carlton might pick one of them. Forgetting possible bids on GWS players...

I've been reading the Freo Big Footy site for a long time now but never thought to post until now. Apologies if this has been mentioned before...

I have been noticing a few comparisons between English and Lobb and thought I'd check their stats at a similar point in their careers with interesting results. Both seemed to play a similar amount of games in the WAFL Reserves, English in his 19th year and Lobb in his 20th.

WAFL reserves

I've probably been leaning more towards not selecting English but I reckon his stats stack up quite well. I have a lot more faith in the recruiters at FFC these days than those tough early years so I'm sure they'll select wisely.

I'm on the Will Hayward bandwagon if Ainsworth and SPS are gone - purely because FFC loves to do leftfield picks (Crozier, Sheridan, Pitt)

(Mind you i'm hopeful we get him at 35 but his worth is probably earlier than that) haha

Freo are going to draft out of the ones that have zero votes (according to the laws of fremantle drafting). Make sure to vote for the player you don't want (we going to do some reverse psychology on the footy gods).

There's been a lot of ill informed info being sprouted about English on here. Best not to take any notice as some have only seen him in the All Stars game.

Yeah, I've been wondering about that, there seems to be this myth that English can't take a mark. I only saw him play live in one game, his only senior appearance for South Freo, but, I do remember he took a nice contested mark.

This rebuilding i actually dont give too much hope in the beginning few round of 2017 season , kind of like when ross first come in , players are new and need to get use to the game plan .
