He hasn't played any senior footy yet.

And his last colts game was round 18. Missed the last few rounds and all of the finals.
Sorry , you are right mistaken him with cody Ninyette who play colt and promote to senior toward the end of the season.
Perth and claremont will be the team to watch for youth development in 2017.

I think I've checked out about 80 prospects in the past few months and after doing so I think I have less of an idea of who we should take than I started with. Latest article on the club website fills me with confidence that our recruiters should get it right (with the disclaimer that they can't control everything): http://www.fremantlefc.com.au/news/2016-11-03/freo-building-draft-momentum

Pick #7 seems a bit daunting as our best pick since forever. But probably less nerve wracking than if we still had #3.

I think the likes of Logue and Hayward are every chance to go higher than Brodie and Taranto. Just hope Logue isn't gone before our pick. He looks like he could be like Rance IMO but a more natural kick.

Yes definitely but by the sounds of it he's a pure mid and doesn't have the best speed.
yes thats why i suggested Berry Logue and Taranto are high up in Freo's priority with Berry the most proven already. We wouldn't even have a chance with him if he was not out of action for a fair time and the spotlight turned to McGrath and Mcluggage etc

How long was he not playing for? I didn't know he had a long term injury. I would rather some others like Scrimshaw if available

You could be right, they are certainly building momentum and both look to have a touch of something special whereas Brodie is a touch vanilla.

Yep, I'd love him too.

It's now looking like GC will either take him or English at 6. If they leave him and SPS is already gone, which I think he will be, I think we take him for sure.

Definitely I pretty much thought the same thing

A guy who has just moved back to WA from Vic messaged me the other day and said Scrimshaw could be the player of the draft based on what he has seen.

Another 193cm player who plays off half back and pushes into the middle sounds like a young Mundy

Who are our inside mids now?
Fyfe
Neale
Mundy (1-2years left, may play backline)
Blakely

The rest aren't likely to be full time inside mids but will rotate through.
Bennell
Hill
Walters

Who are our inside mids developing at Peel?
???
Grey maybe if we bring him back
Do Balic/Tucker get pushed into the midfield fulltime at Peel? (I wouldn't mind that)

I'd say us drafting another inside mid or two would be a near certainty. Then a small forward with our later picks.

SPS
Fisher/Rotham/Cox
Ryan?

Yep, good analysis.

Absolutely, I posted a while back that I think he projects as either a Jonno type defender who can pinch hit forward or even as a taller more skilful Sheridan type.

Or best case scenario, an athletic, agile and skilful tall mid ala Bonts.

Have a look at some of his work in the All-Stars game, he also clunks some very big pack marks.

From mora and fyfe draft
I like slow burner
Mora come out banging then injured, fyfe freo nearly did not get him because he is skinny and drafted as forward but turn out to be a mid and bulk up abit.
i wonder if Logue might be like your description of mora he is a big unit for such a young guy - is a good point you make i think - s no answer about Qinton Narkle as to whether he got injured - not heard anything - his highlights are more than special is a multi link player like Sam Mitchell

Are there any Swan Districts fans who've seen Logue live? Would like to know the inside scoop on his ability to play as a mid.

Will this rebuilding process better than before?
Will delisted players like deluca and grey come back to the squad better than c.pearce did?
Will uebergang and nyhuis shine as rookie pick like duffman and spurr?
