27 then, still older than 25. And he was not 'on fire' in 2014 before his knee, he played 4 games and one he had 14 disposals and in another he had 17.

Don't care.
The odds are that Koby Stevens is not the secret contested ball inside mid of the AFL.
Bulldogs are not so flush with them that he wouldn't get a game if he was.
He's played inside enough to demonstrate it if he was.

You can go on about how crappy Armitage was this year, but he was our second best ball winner by a long long way. Trade him and we go backwards next season.

Me refreshing this thread constantly...

Long way to go. No point snapping at everyone who queries how you can pick up trades for nothing.
No one is snapping at anyone
How can you deduce tone on a forum?
U said about three picks
I said we already have one
So we would need two more, which is what we've been discussing for weeks and why the armo talk is going around
Plus the club said they would like 3 picks under thirty, not we will have.
Most teams wouldn't be able to get what they want

Vickery deal done

DONE DEAL: VICKERY JOINS HAWKS

Richmond has confirmed it won't match Hawthorn's offer for free agent Ty Vickery, allowing the tall forward to join the Hawks on a two-year deal.
The AFL has confirmed the Tigers will receive a round two compensation pick, currently pick No.26, based on the contract offer and Vickery's age.

I'm happy to trust in Dunstan and Steele to take over. He's been a decent player having a decent career but its hasn't been incredible or elite. If he had a substantial body of work behind him or he was young i wouldn't want to trade him. But he doesn't and he's not. If a good offer comes like pick 14 then i think we should pull the trigger.

And the dogs have plent of CP winners, Libba, Bont, Boyd, Wallis, Hunter

You're just making stuff up Bill.

Billy was our ruckman in 2015 & did a great job holding down the #1 spot as a 21 year old.

If he hadn't needed a shoulder reco then he would have started 2016 as the incumbent. He didn't & Hick went from being a VFL standard ruckman in
2015 (the 10 second memory crew conveniently forget that too) to an borderline elite AFL ruckman.

The cold hard reality is actually that Billy was re-signed for 2 years about 6 weeks ago. And that is fact no matter what you want to say.

If you want to judge him on one really disappointing injury ruined season then go for your life. 12 months ago you were probably doing the same to Hickey.

Look kids, there's Big Ben...

Terrible list management in the past 4 years has led to an awkward position where they've got too many players on high end deals.
I was sharing a very beers with a current and former PA player just under 12 months ago and they both voiced pretty strong opinions of Hinkley which sounded as though they reflected the opinion of much of the playing group.
It'll be a big twelve months at Alberton.

Yep top 6 overpaid and the rest on peanuts.

Pittard to us as a free agent in 2017 - you can bookmark it!

I'm a world champion internet tone deducer. I have a Masters and everything (off the internet albeit).

Ok fair enough. All I mean is we can't do both (good picks and trading no one of note). But we do have Ameet I guess.

Even if we do trade him we will not be going backwards next season. The improvement in the overall team (even before Steele), means we are improving. If we were to get pick 15 for Armo then we are better when we are contending with a 21 year old with 3 seasons under his belt rather an Armo who would be 31+.
