I'm a world champion internet tone deducer. I have a Masters and everything (off the internet albeit).

Ok fair enough. All I mean is we can't do both (good picks and trading no one of note). But we do have Ameet I guess.
Mate I'm with ya
No way we can get two more picks without giving up something that's decent. Imo
Ala Stanley or big boy trades

Still reckon something reasonably big will happen
If it doesn't then look out next year I o

He actually came good this year and lived up to his potential a lot more. Carlton fans even stopped calling him Bryce Squibbs.

Put him in a decent team and youll really see his worth, I think.

**** the trade period up.

Offer 10 for Mitchell and Sydney's 2nd round and beat the offer the Hawks are making him.

Hold firm on 40 whatever pick we have for Steele.

Offer Port our future 2nd for Hartlett.

Offer N Brown a good contract.

Have our ear in every deal, willing to use our non-first round picks and players both contracted and uncontracted to facilitate deals and gain some picks or players we think will improve us.

Lick the finger and stick it in every tasty looking pie, then only take the best one, or Force others to pay more for them.

And make out like absolute bloody bandits when we land all of them.

agreed, many people rate Gibbs highly. Skillful and classy

Would definitely not give up gibbs for a marchbank and a jarryd lyons... which is what carlton are doing.
Terrible outcome for carlton; give up an A grader for an unproven, injury prone swingman and a solid B grade small midfielder...

SOS seems determined to stack Carlton's list with most of the players GWS can't keep.

I can't see how it's a winning strategy. Most of the GWS players at Carlton don't look up to it.

Also $500000 per year for for Tyrone and then probably $700k minimum for Jaeger and that's some serious cap space taken up. Lucky they don't have to keep to theirs.

Likely no roughy (insurance is probably paying his wage?) and i don't believe they ever really used buddy's money other than on frawley.

So yeah they are probably right at the limit after vickery, mitchell and jaeger... But it's not impossible.

Lyons out of contract
Got talent, just needs to step up.

Hopefully we jump a few spots next year then we might start to becoming more desirable for big names to come over, join the family and shoot for that back to back premiership.
Ameet on now
Steele deal very productive talks, they have a couple of diff options on table depends on other deals
Trying to get back into second round
Dont think at this stage to trade talls, no one has approached

Asked if have an ace up the sleeve
Reply; not an ace

Looking for that key defender

if this happens, the 2017 season is a wrap

Anyone just catch Bains on Trade Radio? I turned it on at the very end of the interview, all I got was that EMac is still a possibility but isn't a specific target
