Nothing to do with arrogance. Its an opinion. Its to much money for a backman after paying what we did already for a backman. What I think is arrogant is those thinking tall backman will solve oir problem. Look at the WB and realise you don't need tall backman to succeed. You need great muds and reat running players and a game style to suit those players. Why do people think talls are the way to go, especially in the backline when more and more evidence suggests it isn't and its about your midfield.

Richo has said 'We want three of him [Jack Billings] we are not prepared to trade him away'
Richo has also said He'd prefer paddy over stringer, hogan and lynch.

Again, Paddy and Billings will NOT be traded.

We should be over Tommy Rockliff next year Free Agent.
And trade our first pick in 2017 say 8-14 our second for J.Kelly/Shiel/Coniglio & GWS 3rd pick

The bulldogs have won a flag if that is success but at the moment as we type they are successful and they have a fair few injuries and what I would call a small backline and it doesn't seem to effect them. The Hawks don't have a big backline either. Not many sides do. I don't even get what you are saying about North. It sounds like you are saying they did something to our structure to stop their triple threat. Why would they want to stuff up their own triple threat? All I know is their tall forwards struggled. As for the WCE game well 2 things on that. We didn't even really play a KPP. I have suggested that at all. I'm suggesting we don't need 3 of them. Also even without a KPP the real problem was centre clearances. It was something like 8 to none so no wonder the talls got a few goals. When it levelled up the talls hardly kicked a goal even without a real KPP.

Im not saying Hurley isn't a good footballer. I think he is very good and most likely better than Goddard will ever be but the real problem is if Hurley comes to us then Goddard never develops because I don't think Rich is going to play 3 talls. I know that is just bad luck for Goddard but the real problem for me is the wage and the cost in trading. If reports are true about 900K form the tigers then he is going to want pretty much the same off us. To much for a KP backman IMO Way to much on top of Carlisle. It may cost us a gun mid and we could have the best backline in the comp but if we don't improve our midfield we will continue to get smashed on occasions by the top sides. Anyway from what we hear on radio and TV we aren't even on the radar and as much as people say what would they know well sometimes they do hear more things than us through their footy contacts.
