I'm still perplexed at how Tippett and Adelaide conspired to cheat, and Tippett was rewarded with a year off and free agency status.
Didn't the Swans end up giving up a 2nd round pick for him?

PSD.... They got him for freeDidn't the Swans end up giving up a 2nd round pick for him?
He's certainly eyeing off a return to Victoria. North Melbourne and Hawthorn are circling big time. You'd think both of those sides would be on the decline over the next couple of years, so hopefully we can dangle and attractive long term deal, and greater onfield upside than both of those sides.Fair enough. I reckon we are about a 3% chance but I suppose that's a chance. As for rumours well I haven't heard them till now.
I'm keen on Prestia, but we can't throw all out eggs in one basket, we'd look pretty silly if he went to Richmond. Why is Crouch leaving Adelaide? And the chances of getting Fyffe are close to nil. Better to chase guys we may be a chance. Shiel for a start. That's next season though. This year its someone like Prestia.
We're going to have to pay overs to get Adelaide to bite, simple. But it's not way overs by any stretch of the imagination. This is a bloke who was rated as the 2nd best player of his age, only behind Jaeger. By the time Brad is 25, you wouldn't even mention Dunstan in the same breath as him. We forget how good this bloke has been in what has only been 30 odd games of AFL. By the time we're contending, Dunstan won't even be in our first midfield rotation, Brad will be the best mid in our side.
Our first pick is likely to be closer to 10, than 5, and pick 10 is unders. I'd be very surprised if Dunstan fetched us a pick inside the first 25 in the draft in the open market. So we're essentially saying, a mid first rounder, and a mid second rounder for an A Grade talent, and some change. I'd do it in a heart beat.
To put it in perspective, by the end of 2017, Dunstan is likely to be behind the following in terms of midfield minutes and impact:
-Steven
-Armitage
-Ross
-Acres
-Billings
-Gresham
Crouch would be behind:
- Steven.
We showed last year with Carlisle that we're willing to pay the price to fill a need, well the price for Crouch is far greater than Dunstan and a swap of later picks.
I respectively disagree Ghost. I think we'll see some pretty special performances from someone of his experience in the next 8-12 weeks, that result in Adelaide tying him up. I don't think he'll become available to us. Time will tell I guessYou're very much overvaluing Crouch. While he was a star junior he's struggled with form after some very serious foot injuries.
I wouldn't be keen on giving up our first let alone one of our young leaders as well.
Buyer beware.
That depends which week we approach him. I'd do it after a home game and not an interstate game, otherwise your upside logic falls flat. He's certainly eyeing off a return to Victoria. You'd think both of those sides would be on the decline over the next couple of years, so hopefully we can dangle and attractive long term deal, and greater onfield upside than both of those sides.
The guy missed a heap of footy, I reckon it's a bit unfair to expect him to return to form right away. You're very much overvaluing Crouch. While he was a star junior he's struggled with form after some very serious foot injuries.
I wouldn't be keen on giving up our first let alone one of our young leaders as well.

GWS chasing Deledio.... Hmmmmgeeze some nuggets of info in here:
GWS chasing delidio
Melb not interested in midfielders they want backs. ruled themselves out of chasing prestia
Hawks into mitchell
GWS chasing Deledio.... Hmmmm
You'd think that would drop WHE, Ahern & Pickett down the pecking order a fair bit
GWS getting Deludio will only push young players out so that would be good for the rest of the comp.interesting that a GWS supporter on twitter reckons richmond will be into steele for delidio
would we be chasing prestia or will hawthorn?
Sounds like he's just trying to spice things up, makes it interesting for tomorrow at least! What did Port do to get Clarkson to talk about them like that?
What did Port do to get Clarkson to talk about them like that?
Lmao, was that the last time Hawthorn were over there?
FearWhat did Port do to get Clarkson to talk about them like that?
that port fan that he smacked in the throat last year maybe? hahahaWhat did Port do to get Clarkson to talk about them like that?
I heard on one of the shows that Melbourne and Tigers are into Prestia and Hawks into JOM, not that means muchinteresting that a GWS supporter on twitter reckons richmond will be into steele for delidio
would we be chasing prestia or will hawthorn?
Jarrod will want to return to WA desperately. It would be a sliding doors moment if he took Lewis Jetta's spot at the Eagles given Lewis went to great lengths to help him , even though Jarrod was at GWS and he was at Sydney. He can play though !!wouldnt surprise me at all if WCE come knocking for Pickett
