1) we can be the only honest bidder against the academy selections

2) the kids expected to be available at six are better than prestia according to the draft watchers

We went into this week either thinking worst case scenario pick 6 or we went in prepared to walk away which isn't in the spirit of things if what Pask said is true.

If the club walked away from the Prestia and Deledio deals if all this noise is true, certainly wouldn't blame them. They've tried to be aggressive and positive (and fair might i add), if other clubs don't want to play ball then it is out of our control.

Still hoping this is all just media spin and we will get them done somehow

We haven't traded pick 6 for Prestia. We haven't been bent over by Geelong for Deledio and we forced the Hawks to pay 500k a year for Ty, which has seen the shit hit the fan with their premiership heroes.

These are facts. The rest is pure speculation.

We should seriously now look at keeping 6 and off loading more players to trade into the draft with as many decent picks as we can.
Do the Lids thing and then trade in picks.

Only thing is no one wants any of our players unless you are talking Cotchin, Martin, Reiwoldt or Rance.
