All good. My money ball pick is Fiorini or Balic. But I'm looking 3-6yrs ahead with mine, not immediate impact

For immediate impact, I want elite guns, not money ballers. Strike hard while we are cashed up & have big currency. That's just my opinion

I reckon Fiorini gives immediate impact, his stats are better than Dunstan in his best year so far and he's played 13 games and missed most of his first year with injury. His future looks very bright and should be huge if his trajectory keeps going the way it has been.

Might have to be one or the other. If we get lever, we may not afford Robbo.

I'd rather keep Robbo then. The rebound half backs are almost the most important players these days. Collingwood fell off a cliff when they lost Shaw and Lamumba. Lever looks like a bit of an Alex Rance junior but I'd rather a clean kicking rebound back and get a state league stopper to replace Brown. Dayne Rampe was playing at Port Melbourne when they nabbed him.

Delist Robbo and throw that $600k pa he wants onto Kelly's contract and then double the length of Kelly's contract while we are at it.

I don't even care if he blows up our entire team I WANT KELLY.

If Roo, Gilbo, Joey & Dempster retire & Robbo is traded the that's a shit load of experience lost.

If the above list changes occur, McCartin (Roo) & White (Gilbert) become automatic best 22. Then potentially add Kelly (Joey) & Lever (Robbo) to the 22. It's a young team especially if Armo does get back into the team as well.

B: Geary - Brown - Lever
HB: White - Carlisle - Webster
C: Kelly - Dunstan - Newnes
R: Longer - Ross - Steven
HF: Billings - Bruce - Sinclair
F: Gresham - McCartin - Membrey
I: Savage - Acres - Stevens - Steele

E: Weller - Mckenzie - Armo

Perhaps a glance to the future. How does it shape up?

Robbo is a great intercept mark but his rebound is just ok for mine. His kicking out of defence isnt elite - long and high seems to be the go too many times.

Ameet? Is that you?

I'm still optimistic about Lonie. I remember hearing that in his junior year, he was the only Vic Metro player who was tagged, every week by the opposition. Admittedly, it was Terry Wallace who said this, but he's always had potential.

True. It's a shame Terry has never lived up to it...

Dont forget we are getting a Free Agent. So the blueprint says

And I stick by that. Kelly and Lever are over the line for the Saints. My understanding is that 2 firsts for Kelly and a second coming back. Then that second RDP plus 2018's first for Lever. Time will tell. Oh and by the way, thanks for the show of faith Joffaboy.
I hope, by Jove, that you're right mate. Any hints as to your sources or reasoning? We all need a bit of good news.

Would kinda stay in line with what MG said about the talk being that we are like come with us to play with <player> we will also trade for.
We thought it was Kelly to play with Fyfe or Martin but if it's Lever I'd be absolutely stoked

/any club has ever had.

Even if it cost us all 3 first rounders + trading more players for another first rounder.

Yeah probably. Kelly and Lever would be 2 of the best established talents under 23 in the league. All 3 first rounders in a heartbeat, how can you go wrong? They're both dead set guns already. Shit, Kelly was pick 2 and has easily lived up to that, and none of our picks are going to be that high in his original value alone.
