Not Really, Clubs dont fall over with 1 player going they re evaluate and reset and move on. If Dusty was to leave i would prefer the club to take 1 step back to take 2 steps foward.

* Match the bid & force the other club to find 2 first round draft picks to trade for him
* Do not take any free agents this year
* Use all 4 first round selections at the draft
* Delist all the spuds on the list and pay out players like Griffiths,Hampson who still are contracted and move on from them
* Trade players like Miles,Lennon,Edwards,Batchelor for any 2nd/3rd round selection
* Cut our TPP to a minimum and front load most of the important contracts to set for 2018/2019 free agency period
* Use 4 first rounders + 4 2nd/3rd rounders
* Upgrade Chol,Moore,Castagna
* Bring 12 young kids

We will be middle table 2-3 years but will come back bigger & Better

Definitely wouldn't cost us a 1st. Mid 2nd would get it done if he wanted to leave I'd say or maybe even Miles.

Agree with this - Crows are a great example of this are doing ok without Dangerfield.

Ha, we'll make headlines come draft/trade period after using our two first round picks from the Dusty trade to bring in two 55Kg back-flankers, one missing a leg, which no-one had in the mix to be drafted at all

Dont really think there are any free agnet players that are a 'must have' If we are taking a step back to reset, We would be better off useing the money to sure up our salary cap and have a real go at players that will be F/A from GWS / G coast in 2 years time when we are ready

2 years is a long wait for the talent already on the list. They would of been promised a shot at success not a complete drop off to hit the draft again.

He will be 24 years old and only played 24 games so far , Numbers are very much tyrone vickery like numbers not sure exactly which way he will go - I would probably pass if it meant a 1st rounder but for 2018 2nd rounder i would take.

He is 23 but will be 24 next April (when he plays for us if we got him)

Hawks will want to keep him and is 2 years away from F/A , I like him but its line ball
If he was 21 and at the level he is at then would be a yes

No way Hawks would let him come to us now they have worked out how unreliable Ty is.
Would be delicious though if we did snag him for 2018 2nd rd and he became a solid player for us. would pretty much work out as a straight swap for Ty, just delayed.

Thats not a bad idea.You can bank on them just about finishing dead last next year.I would do it but i suspect the hawks know where they will be at over the next 5yrs and won't agree.

Potentially yes. There isn't much out there though and he might be better value than Reid.
