Depends how long the rookie draft is. Gotta remember one of those picks is reserved for Broomhead.

You need to have the same number come in as goes out, so yes. We'll know over the next week what the delistings are.

I assume the two Irish boys are Cat Bs that don't occupy regular list spots, so we currently have a surplus of one player (Fasolo out, Beams/Roughead in). Add two more to that for Quaynor and Kelly.

With only Oxley likely to drop off the current rookie list? Depends what we get at the National draft, we may decide on an extra rookie spot instead? Might save us some $$$ for the cap too (I'm assuming rookies would naturally cost less than a draft pick?)

Yeah, rookies are on a much smaller salary but get match payments.

Actually I just looked up Wraith. Why look at him anyway? He's a ruckman, and we've already committed to another year with Lynch on the rookie list.

It was only the last part of the season that Wraith played ruck, before that chb and fb

So am I reading this correctly. We have picks 41, 44, 51, 56, 57 (ignoring 93) which totals 1409 points. IQ and Kelly will cost roughly 1700? So will fiddle the figures to get there.

But to be able to utilise all the points we have to therefore have 5 open list spots.

He only can get delisted when his B sample comes back positive. Apparently, we won’t receive the results till Janurary.

Undersized ruckman, probably won’t ruck at AFL level. Has played defence as well. But yeah rookie at best.

Nonsense. The whole purpose of the B sample is to provide an athlete with the chance to re-test the sample. It is up to the athlete to request a B sample or waive it and go straight to penalties/mitigation.
