Have not the kind of trades we’ve loved the most have been lesser-lights from other clubs that have shone brightly for us?

Lynch, Sauce, Jenkins. We grin smugly at the clubs that “offloaded” them to us.

A necessary stage in the process of a genius trade is this board reacting with a collective “We’re looking at WHO?”

Which is happening as we speak.

So can we all take a deep breath and show some class and realise it’s ‘whom’, we’re looking at WHOM?

Smith could be a Tambling, Stengle could be a Menzel, Chol could be a Lowden ... or not. But I’m happier with this kind of gamble than the expensive kind of bringing in Polec, Motlop, Rocky, Watts & now Lycett

Cheers, very disappointing by Charlie to be honest, I don't think Knight has anything to do with the #4 though as some have said, his post on Insta after the Carlton game doesn't seem like someone who wants out.

Despite JJ having a bloody good year and actually looking like a big man, you'd do that in a heartbeat.

In another year yes but if we lose Gov and JJ that changes our forward set up considerably. It would put a lot of pressure on Fog and Luk (given that we gave up JJ to the GC).

Lever, Cameron and McGovern have added comments but no one else. I wonder if a few small clicks are happening. 2016/17 the group was very tight, it now feels like s fee faction are occurring.

Disappointing if so. That camp has a lot to answer for!

WCE get compo pick.
Lycett then asks for a trade with 5 years left on his contract without playing a game for Port.
Port trade Lycett back to the Eagles for a pick lower than the compo pick.
Everyone wins.
Eagles get a pick upgrade for nothing and Port get a pick in exchange for a player they never had.
