Maybe reading way way wayyyy too much into this but I find it very strange that only Knight and Greenwood comments on this post.

Lever, Cameron and McGovern have added comments but no one else. I wonder if a few small clicks are happening. 2016/17 the group was very tight, it now feels like s fee faction are occurring.

Disappointing if so. That camp has a lot to answer for!

Still on the camp?! FFS!!

Ever worked with a large group of people? How about school or uni?

There's always going to be groups formed. Within those groups closer friendships occur. That's life.

Cameron is still very close with a number of Crows players. Eddie spoke about Jake being in a Crows Fortnite group. Greenwood and Knight are top-shelf lads.

Nothing to see here...move on.

Two of the guys in Charlie's Instagram didnt even go on the camp??

18 players re-signing this year would suggest the camp didnt really splinter the group either.

Maybe. But I do think something has happened to divide the playing group. They used to be use close and united but now a few splinters have surfaced.

May not have been the camp but something or someone has created unrest.

Is it just me or is Kane Cornes performing ok this year on trade radio? Certainly seems to have toned down his shock joke anger towards the Crows IMO.

Maybe my anger has just been relocated to Scoop McClure
Interestingly enough, Kane always performs well on trade week radio. He was pretty good on it last year too. Its just when he caters to the local market that he goes a bit off center.

Seems to coincide with some some key appointments at the club over the last 3 years and a match committee backing in older underperforming players. Add in a payment structure that rewards past deeds over future potential and no wonder there is divide between younger and older players. It's up to the coach and captain to make sure these divides don't happen.

Am watching trade TV for the first come this morning. Am loving Dal taking it up to McClure. Great dig about Sos when he was at GWS then just a minute ago about the notion of "destination clubs"

These side groups are fine, what you do away from the club and hang out with are fine, when we are winning and when we are demonstrating unity on the ground.

This is about football. This is not university where you are looking out for your own interests to get your degree or employment to do your job but football. It’s a team game. A group of people pulling together for 1 common practice; to win and these those guys must pull together to show is unity, trust and togetherness. Common themes towards winning.

When losing becomes a factor based on those issues, we have a problem. The camp may have been a very minor issue but we lost last season when we should have been a very strong contender.

Now, you maybe happy to stay “nothing to see here folks” but we went from being the best side in the compertition one year to missing the 8 and it has zero to do with talent or injuries as we beat Richmond with the large amount of injuries and we beat West Coast as well.

Something else caused our season to be destroyed and next year won’t be any better if that issue isn’t fixed or changed.

It's not a nothing to see here thing at all.

Evidence suggest the playing group are happy with each other or nearly half of it wouldnt have signed new deals. We also started and finished the season well, when we actually had players available.

That right there is almost solely why our season went to ****

Again I'm not sure that's correct

I'm not sure how you've come to that conclusion.

My only concern is that Smith is 29 in Feb and wouldn't come cheap.

I would rather we were after someone younger than that will have a long term impact for us.
They only paid two 3rd rounders to get him, and have stopped playing him. Hard to argue that his trade value has increased since then.

I'm all in for Zac Smith. Worse case scenario he is mature and experienced back up/support for Sauce which he desperately needs.

Best case scenario he sees it as his last chance and produces some football that he's actually capable of which is top shelf.

Don't see how we lose provided cost is commensurate with his current status

The season is now over. Everything is pure speculation. I will hold judgment on what I think until next year now. If we win, my negative theories don’t have a leg to stand on. If we lose to Fremantle in Western Australia or Melbourne in Alice Springs or other games we are supposed to win or be far more competitive I might revist this.

I hope their resilience returns and we win games we are supposed to win, instead of lose. This becomes a pointless discussion right now as it is just “he said, she said” barber shop talk.

If we use the Carlton fan valuation system. Geelong will have to give us picks to take him.

Do yourself a favour. Don't read Carlton fans' anything.

This last bit is key, but it's almost a no lose situation.

I dont expect anything from him so with expectations that low you cant lose
