Melb could go for that, they want another good pick! They could have p5,8,25/32

IMO.. Id trade p5 + 25/32 for p3 every day.

Without Adelaide we get the player we want at 5. Don’t need Young, don’t need Jackson. We will bid on Green but will end with Flanders/Stephens/Ash. Suits us perfectly

Most likely...but trying to go needs based at pick 3 is a brave call, imo. Best available is the less risky option....think of green or whatever inside mid that don’t need or want as future currency..

Yeah cause a kid from Canberra just dreams of playing at Homebush instead of the MCG.
If Jackson is gone at 3 I guess we could see GWS reaching for Ash or McCasey to develop under Shaw or Davis.
Of course now GWS have 4, they can reach an agreement with Melbourne pretty easily to get ahead of their pick too.
"Who do you want? Ok, we promise not to take that guy. And here have a third rounder."

Well any bitching about Swans drafting should start with the complete dominance handed to GWS.....16 x 1st round picks since 2014, 6 x 2nd round picks since 2014

I think you right and IF GWS doesnt match and Green is everything the pundits believe, then the Demons can trade, next year, one of the others and trade in a ready to go player in the position you want.

If they match the bid then select the next best or need.
