Yer knew he had another season it he is struggling to get through training let alone the riggers of senior footy week to week.

Naismith doesn’t excite me like some others but that’s my opinion. Just don’t rate his around the ground efforts and is a liability

He is a witches hat for the most part. No Mobility. Lets face it the best ruckman in the comp play like ruck rovers. If you can't do that you need to be a strong mark around the ground. He can't do either.

Fella on another thread saying he works with papleys misses and he will nominate Carlton

Who knows if true I guess

Imo I still think he is gone
He's a nuffy. As if that's true. The way I see it is that they will pay heavily to get him. It means we will get a top 10 pick for a bloke we took as a rookie. It will help us get Grundy.

We getting Grundy also

This is the only thing I've seen on Grundy Punts.

SYDNEY

WHAT THEY NEED
The Swans’ lack of depth in their ruck department was badly exposed this year with the extended absences of Callum Sinclair and Sam Naismith due to injury, forcing them to use a makeshift combination of Aliir Aliir and Sam Reid. While Aliir did a reasonable job, he is obviously much more valuable as a key back.
WHO FITS THE BILL?
With dual All-Australian ruckman Brodie Grundy reportedly asking Collingwood for a seven-year contract extension beyond 2020, and not having his request met so far, the Swans should exploit this situation and offer Grundy exactly what he wants. Sydney have a long history of attracting big names up north and this would be another spectacular example if they could pull it off.

I come in peace! jungle drums beating pretty loudly down here around Daniher looking for a fresh start - but no way we’d get Parker and pick 4 for Daniher he’s played only 11 games over the last 2 seasons and who knows with his OP so his currency is in a slump right now. He’s probably a risk worth taking though and if he can get back anywhere near his 2017 form look out! I do think he’d be a good fit for the Swans and Joe may well thrive up at Sydney with a fresh start. I’d say at age 25 he is a risk worth taking so I think both clubs will look at it for sure

Yes Plugger was pre #nodh.
That was when we recruited the biggest, most A grade card carrying dh in footy. D. Brereton.

For about the 50th time there was never a "No Dickhead" policy.

Trent Hotton called up Ricky Barham and asked if there was any chance of a lifeline at Sydney after he'd been delisted at Carlton or maybe Collingwood (I forget which). Ricky Barham said "No". Trent asked "Why not?" Barham said "Because as much as I like you, you're a dickhead." That's it. Hotton later ran the Leading Teams program at Sydney and used that story as the genesis of how he came up with that cultural program.

at age 25 he is a risk
This & this alone is the only reason why the Bombers would even consider moving him.
He would be worth no more than a late first rounder in his condition, but I have a strong suspicion that a second rounder would get the deal done, much as we did with Hanners & the Hawks have done with Scully etc when they supposedly got a bargain for the risk factor he has with his body.
We are in a new age where teams are realising it's better to move a player, who has the combination of being a fitness risk & taking a high proportion of the cap, to a club that is prepared to take that risk & salary. We have now cleared cap space.

We won't pay more than our pick 23 for him if we were not to wait until next season when he's a free agent.

I do not share your confidence in our football/recruiting staff.

I know it's open season now but I couldn't think of a much lower act than bailing on a contract commitment after a club gave you an opportunity while working as a plumber. This mid-contract homesickness nomination shit needs to be reigned in because it's going to severely hurt us as a non-heartland interstate club in the long term, especially without the carrot of COLA.

There was an article published last week where Papley said he wouldn't be requesting a trade. Why are we getting worked up over someone on big footy who claims they work with the gf?

Not sure why sharing info makes me a ‘nuffy’? Is it because it doesn’t suit your trolling narrative on that thread?

Take away the fact that I’m a Carlton supporter - I’m willing to put money down on my ‘nuffy’ info if you’re keen?

Would Calton really be willing to give their 1st round pick for him?

So you going by his misses he will request a trade to Carlton this coming trade period even if he didn’t ask to be leave a few weeks back in the exit meeting?

I didn’t realise that his misses had moved back to Melbourne already, if that’s the case then imo he is off

I think so. Pick 8 gets it done IMO:

I think age profile, position and contractual status would mean it would need to be a premium pick to make it happen.

The swans would need to sell this one to their members that they were willing to let him walk with a year (or an un-triggered 3 years) to go on his contract. The only way they do that is for overs (Pick 8) IMO.

I don’t know anything about his exit meeting etc, but according to her he wants to get to Carlton. That’s it in terms of info provided.

If you weren't a nuffy, you wouldn't have come on here to try again.

If you are so right, then you made your comment, stick to it, don't worry what I say & enjoy getting him to your club.
It's simple really.
