Xavier Campbell (Essendon CEO) is unaware of any interest by us i think this has been complete bs from the get go.

Take it easy on them. They're good value come trade period. I've gotten plenty of laughs out of the Daniher thread.Essendon always fall back on the we know nothing defence
What’s in the syringe guys
We are unaware
What’s it like to win a final

I didn't even know he played A-League! What a talent !Gold Coast reported to be close to recruiting Brad Crouch. I wish we could have him but I'd be very happy for him to go to Gold Coast as an alternative to us.
Bombshell Report Brad Crouch Is Considering An Offer To Leave Adelaide FC
“Very close”www.fiveaa.com.au
And that might still represent a win this time next year!We will head into the trade period expecting daniher and leave with mason wood
Comon, McCartin + pick 4 or Parker + pick 8 for Danniher seems perfectly reasonable to me!
s**t, some of them are really talking about pick 4 this year and our first next year (not expecting us out of the bottom 6). Or 4 and 8 this year. And Mcartin being thrown in instead of one of those pics. f*n hell.
I bought this 4wd about 7 or 8 years ago. Paid $40k. I beat the s**t out of it for 5 years and it's been in the shed with a busted axle for the last couple.
I've welded the axle and it should be right.
I'll sell it to you for $80k.
Don’t point that out on the MB- I said I was sad this will drag out the deal as Dododro stinks and they defended him like he’s the best used car salesman alive.I think the way that dodoro trades is a reflection of the inflated sense of entitlement of the bomber fanbase

Ridiculous!tbf, we have our fair share of those as well.
I have seen some people posting here suggesting Daniher will cost a second round pick only.
Jesse hogan cost 6 and 23. I mean if we need a reference guide that is close to the mark
With the Gold Coast priority pick we're holding 5 and 24. I don't know if it's posturing but the Swans have said they won't trade the first pick for anyone. It'll just be a matter of who blinks first if the trade is legit. We could just as easily walk away and be in a better position 12 months from now.
Why wouldn’t we keep the chocolates and just give them some nose sugar as a sweetener?Ridiculous!
Should be a fifth round pick and a nice box of Favourites chocolates for taking an injury ravaged player off their hands.
If we're in to him I suspect it would be a very targeted approach. I don't think clubs are that haphazard about their recruiting. They pour a lot of time and resources into it.I guess that would depend on our feelings towards Daniher though. Are we super keen on him because we're desperate for another key forward and are actively chasing him to fill that need, or are we only semi-interested because he's keen to leave Victoria and we'd take any star we can get if they want to play for us?
I think whichever one we fit into will determine whether we fork out to get him here this year, or remain patient and wait for next year/don't bother with him.
I personally hope it's the latter.
Where's Michael Talia when you need him?Why wouldn’t we keep the chocolates and just give them some nose sugar as a sweetener?
problem is, what is fair and what essendon will demand are two completely separate things.
Daniher is the great white hope for Essendon after almost 20 years in the wilderness. They will want pick 4 plus another top 10 pick, and possibly even more.
We can laugh at that, but that is what they will demand and it will hold up the entire trade period.
One of the many reasons why I want us nowhere near this trade.
Sydney: You’re an idiot Talia, thanks for coming.Where's Michael Talia when you need him?
A few years ago I heard your put some extra supplements in the fuel tank and may not know what they were?

I posted before that I'm happy with a very patient approach so we can build a list that can contest over a long time. We've got a young squad which is a challenge but presents a significant opportunity. I hope the club isn't looking for a quick fix while Buddy is still on the list. If we want Daniher we should be prepared to wait 12 months.
