My worry about Aish is that apart from the injury history he's quite slow, not really ideal for a winger. Not a terrible player at the right price but not sure I'd want to part with a future 2nd
Can't see us playing him on the wing personally. Think he joins our backline and allows Cerra/Conca/Blakely/SHill to play midfield instead.

Aish has officially nommed us

Quite amusing that the son of SA football royalty, who Adelaide were desperate for in his draft year, went to Brisbane, asked to be traded to a Melbourne club, will now end up in WA. Players are jumping off Adelaide like 3rd class passengers off the sinking Titanic. You'd have to wonder why the Crows weren't all over him like a cheap suit - even just for the 'feel good' nature of it all. Seems like it's welcome to Freo, Jimmy.

I am happy for the right price as I think he is a decent player, but he isn't good enough to pot the Crows for not signing him.

He's a defender these days.

I'm well aware, but there's a few posters who seem to want him as a winger. If he was any good as a winger he probably would have been playing there ahead of Mayne. The only role he can play is as an unaccountable defender, I just don't see the appeal considering he's slow and his disposal isn't exactly what you'd call outstanding.

That said, if Jlo rates him then that's good enough for me.

I don't think he's what we are looking for.
Small & slight, without express speed.
OK skills, but IMO if we were to improve our defense it would be with speed & skill. The tall options are fine.

Not saying HE would pot the Crows, but they need something feel good, and having an Aish at their club might be just the tonic for a club sinking almost as fast as Shit Kilda. But Qld, Vic, WA for "their" boy just strikes me as amusing - Aish's talent (or lack thereof) aside.
