What about him?

A 25 year old for $650K over 5 years, who cost us pick 11, and we got Pittard thrown in for an existing contract extension and a 4th round pick.

I'm not complaining.

Here's Polec & Hill's numbers for this year:

watching Polec play is like saving on dental surgey by travelling to mexico. sure it might be cheaper. sure it might get the job done. hell it might even be more effective. but **** me dead it hurts and you're not quite sure when you will recover, if at all.

He really struggled to back up & was exposed on the large ground. He would make the perfect sub.

(Patiently waiting for spacey to put Jack’s head on a meatball sub).
Was never going to happen but you nearly always know second up games are tough but you would never drop a player. Similar to me after a big night. The first beer is always tough so I tip it out and start on my second. Works well.

I'll just have to soldier on I suppose mate.

I don't see why we're going to need another tall. There are plenty on the list, if they have good mids kicking it to them then they'll look OK. If they have bad mids kicking it to them then they'll look terrible regardless of how good they are. Look at GWS - they've got so many good tall forwards that Finlayson's been dropped a couple of times, and he's still kicked 36 goals - if he was on our list he'd be on about $800k a year. But despite all those good talls, they're not going well because they've been missing their high-quality mids.

Replace Newnes, Dunstan, Acres, Sinclair with Crouch, Hill, Langdon, maybe Caldwell in a couple of years and I reckon we'd go a bit better.
i would rather keep Acres over langdon

Jack Steven first game back from four months... is literally the match winner in a cliff hanger, in both coaches votes...

A week later Geelong won’t want him for pick 80 unless we pay his salary :D
Best thing we can do with Steven is get him fit and get another year out of him and get what we are given through FA.
If he is willing to do that.

Neither game changed my opinion of the pick number

I’m not sure the industry will feel the same way. What we saw vs Freo was a terribly out of shape looking bloke become a match winner. Vs the Blues we saw a bloke look & PLAY like he is terribly out of shape. He really has deteriorated over the past few months. I thought you said he was back to full training & cherry ripe? He looks pretty bad plugger. Hopefully he’s in far better shape r1, 2020.

He is back in full training and I said his fitness is good enough to replace a poorer player.

I would be happy if all that transpired you make it sound so easy.i bet some f’ed up round about trade happens and we end up giving up players and pick for the scum of the draft. It is the saints way

On G3226 using BigFooty.com mobile app
when has that happened in the last 10 years ? how can you say its "the Saints way" when its very far from what has transpired the previous trade periods
