Haven’t got time at the moment but here’s a Stuv Dimmy I prepared earlier 😃

Sorry plugger66 , I should have realised that combining Stuv and a Dim Sim could send you into an ecstasy overload.

Hope you’ve got the tissues handy 😉

The farm is quite small though. More of a hobby farm. Few stray lambs and a couple of chooks out the back. Point being, you simply don’t pass up on someone that good (or capable of). He’ll 99% stay another year, but that 1% chance he does want to come back now, we’ll make it happen.

We have the next couple of years to build around them. We’re not winning the flag next year. It’s either mids this year King next or the other way around. Makes no difference.
Ill have to take your word for it, but I don’t think we would be looking to use another top 5 pick on a key forward if he wasn’t max’s brother... and that worries me a little bit about the process and rationale.

Key back as well don’t forget.. versatile book ends. But I get and respect your point.

We need midfield class more than anything, as we don't have too many players with x-factor, pace or quality ball users. Apart from Gresham, Hannebury & Steven when fit, all the midfielders are the same work horse type midfielders.
Not great at anything, just good.
Most top 4 sides have great midfielders.
Edit: I haven't included Clark in the above, as he isn't rotating through the middle yet. He is a gun.

Brad Crouch is likely not going to be at the Crows next year , with the list they have they will have to have a massive clean out - to many players past there used by date.
Betts 33
Walker 30
Jenkins 31
Jacobs 31
Gibbs 30
Greenwood 28
Lynch 29
Otten 30
MacKay 31
Douglas 33
Sloane 30
So to me, it doesn't make sense to trade out a 25 year old mid. I'd be looking at offloading those older guys.

That's unless he wants out.

So the article states "up to $900k a season".

That could mean anything including a heavily front loaded at $900k for the first year.

LMAO.

Freo are going to play hard ball on this trade - they are going to want the earth given that he is contracted for the next 2 years. I just hope we dont get bent over in our eagerness to get him across?

Gubby and Lethlean are hard nuts.

Ultimately though, it comes down to what value we put on him in terms of team improvement.

Honestly the cash doesn't worry me. It's the pick we use.

Exactly. I am not looking forward to it, Hill isn't exactly a top flight inside out accumulator - he is a good player who I would happily have on our list but at what trade cost?
