OK guys, Max the Great has posted his apologies, no need to keep at him.

The thing about this place is that we are all passionate Saints nuffies, we all want to hear what potentially is happening at the club and so people from various sources hear stuff and want to pass it on for all to get a bit excited about.
A number of people have have mentioned on here about something brewing with GWS, others specifically Caldwell, I have had PM's on the subject. Does it mean it will 100% occur? Not at all.
Take the Kelly case, much like we are hearing about Caldwell, a number of sources said he was over the line. Turns out he wasn't, doesn't mean they were making it up. sh*t happens.
I am no ITK, have never said I know inside stuff, but I got info on the Ben King GC deal from an unimpeachable source, and today still get hounded by a certain poster on here if I mention it. No wonder Stav and MG don't post often. People, they are not trolls like johnyrayflamingo, they have been about for years.
The place would be very boring without a tidbit of information here and there.
Just remember as I said this is bigfooty, football nuffie land, just to show how we all love our team and crave info, I posted details of my family member drafted in the AFLW to the Dogs board. They were appreciative as it had a particular Bulldogs history and bent, and they, just like the rest of us on Bigfooty love their club and crave to hear about the players.

Well said Joff , im not taking eithers side on here but come on guys just because Max said something against MG you all went for the throat , Im sure MG could speak for himself if he was offended, he doesn't need the cavalry to come to his rescue.
No doubt MG and others get info at times just like me but it doesnt mean they are always going to be right , in fact i got a text message from someone connected to the club that everyone on here and i mean everyone would know and he told me clearly on Wed arvo that battle wouldn't play , so its not easy at times getting correct info , let not try and kill each other on here

Powerful stuff from Ratts. I can imagine how he would have done it too. He would have gathered all the players into the meeting room and gone on a big speech about when your backed into a wall and how to get out. He would have ended it with “you just win tonight”. Ohh, the chills.

I can understand that a ruck might leave on the promise of regular game time, or even a key position player, because there are very few spots up for grabs. But any young, supposedly talented, midfielder who is looking to jump the queue rather than earn a spot in a midfield is a bit of a warning sign for me. If I'm Jye Caldwell, all I want to be hearing from Ratten is that there will be complete integrity at the selection table.

I think what your missing is that we are targeting Caldwell. We are saying we want you and we need you and your career will be better off if you come here.

That says we will play him and as long as he has a good pre season he probably plays round 1. At that point it’s all up to Caldwell to do what he can control to become that player. But by bringing him in we are already saying your ahead of X Y Z. Last point,This isn’t a premiership team. This isn’t a midfield with multiple all Australians and brownlow medalists.

If anyone not named Jack Steele lost there spot to Caldwell. Well I would hope it spurs them on to be a player who can be selected on merit.

Do you think we’re just waiting for finals to be over to announce it or do you think he might not even have told gws what he wants to do yet?

Just wanted to pass on some information to you guys. Forget discussing trades for any of the GWS mids. I’ve been told by an extremely reliable source at Collingwood that you guys literally have a handshake agreement with Collingwood for a trade for Trealor. They’re desperate to clear up salary cap space to target a tall forward. Also, you guys are also going hard at De Goey. And have made an offer he’s weighing up which is a hell of a lot more than what Collingwood have offered. North and Essendon have also made offers but he wants to play finals.

Will keep you updated when I hear anything else.

Leo looks like he has a very good brain and is a good user of the ball , Byrnes is just a see ball get ball and take off with his speed ( reminds me of a young Lachie Neale ) with more pace and Bytel hopefully turns out to be a Jack Steele clone , if that all works out we are in for some fun
