Wow, would be an absolutely massive trade if they pull that off and would make us into a completely different team. Thanks for the PM!
No problems, when it occurs, I and Captain Risky want the accolades as ITK's, as we broke it here first.

Meanwhile in the land of Delusion.

I think it may be something like.
Pick 7 or future first for Saad and whatever pick they negotiate. Could be some position swaps.
Pick 31 for Fantaisia.
Band two compo pick for Daniher -pick 21 to 25 depending on bids.
Future second round for Caldwell.
No idea how they get the Dunkley deal done other than using our first and something for Dunkley and their first.
Going to be a busy last day if they dig their heals in.

Has Josh Kelly reached anywhere near the levels that we were envisaging a few years back with all the GIFs?

His best is very good but I think people imagined he'd become elite. Injury has held him back a bit. He's still a excellent player.

Big news on another player to hit the airwaves this week. Trade time will go into hyperspace very soon.

Did you get the PM from Pluggs and passing it off as your own?

(BTW I haven’t received a PM, so I’m just going to assume it’s Heeney and it’s happening at 4:15 can be any day)

I think you are doing the Injectors a disservice. Haven't they had two salary cheating scandals and one supplement cheating incident, for a grand total of 3 cheating incidents. I would hate that they don't get the recognition that they deserve.

  • In 1996, Essendon were fined a record $638,250 ($250,000 in back tax and penalties, $112,000 for draft tampering and $276,250 for breaching the salary cap regulations), forfeited their first, second and third round picks in the National Draft and were excluded from the 1997 rookie and pre-season drafts after a joint Australian Tax Office and AFL investigation found that they had committed serious and systematic breaches of the salary cap regulations totalling $514,500 between 1991 and 1996, including $110,000 in 1993 when Essendon won the premiership.[12]

Not sure which game he played 90% back there. Might have been GWS , i thought he was very very good.
I just looked at his heat map and for our last 4 games, he was getting most of his bal in the back half so maybe thats something Ratts is already looking at.

We do know Ratts values versatility, so Sinclair being able to play at both ends could help him moving forward if spots get tight.

Treloar is far superior to Ross. If we want to take the next step we need to keep improving.

I rate Treloar highly but I have family who follow the Pies. They talk about Treloar how we talk about Seb. I don't think if you dislike Seb you will like Treloar more. Both spray kicks and don't have much composure, both rack up possessions but burn ball etc.

I rate high accumulators but Oliver, Treloar, Seb, Rocky, Crouch x2 etc all waste a lot because of the role they play. I picked their best years each to compare. I think it's fair to say it isn't a huge upgrade for the cost. Seb is pretty physically resilient too.

Bringing in a heap of soldiers of fortune for cash will start to make for a pretty detached culture as well.

We have halfway americanised the system as it is and it is broken in its current state.

I deplore the fact that players sign contracts and then with 2 years to go decide they want to go. They have signed a contract deal with it and then name the club they want to play for. The clubs need something resembling some sort of power back. This is why all players should have a no-trade box in there contract and if they tick it they can’t be traded

When they have signed a contract it is a different kettle of fish. Clubs can and have said no. In those circumstances it is completely fair enough to hold them to their contract if a suitable trade can't be done.

I would be against increasing draftee contracts though as they have no say over where they go. Doesn't seem reasonable to keep a 20 year in a place employment they don't want to be by holding their future career hostage.

I have worked for corporations within the same industry that had cultures worlds apart. The idea of being stuck at a company I hate is unimaginable for me, just because they're footballers doesn't make it ok.

PM me please boys, its been a long week, my three year old had a Covid test on Friday (negative thank god!) and I could do with some goss!

I agree, although I'd have Oliver in a different category. He is more of a contested/clearance machine than the others. Would sell the farm for him.

I don't mind Esava but think a different type would better compliment Roma...

I was more of thinking him & Winx in the forward line while helping out as a pinch hit in the ruck.
